those who travel to BKK frequently should know which line belongs to which company.
And those frequent BKK will know what timing and which stations will be crowded :) Not like all stations will be packed during peak hour for MRT and BTS

I am curious, Thailand also called their train system MRT??
Remember we also have a Buangkok MRT station here in SG, only spelling mistake and Bangkok and become Buangkok or vice versa.

Ya, Bangkok subway system also called MRT, they are mostly underground~ the older one, which are elevated is called BTS~ both use different ticketing system for those that purchase from the machine~ MRT is token while BTS is card~ :s22:

MRT is underground and can pay by visa.

BTS is overhead and can pay by rabbit card or master card.

Also got airport rail to bring you to city

Main stations I use are
BTS - Asok, Nana, Chit Lom, Siam, Phromphong, National Stadium, Victory Monument, Mo Chit

MRT - Sukhumvit, Wat Mangkon

Yup, the Sukhumvit line is really packed like sardines during morning rush hour.
The blue mrt line is packed like sardines in the evening rush hour after work.
Now it is packed like sardine every hour cos now all fare in BTS/mrt is capped at 20 baht for Thai citizens so all want to use it
