Look at this edmwer that keep posting he lost almost 50% of his nest egg investments, now no choice have to sell car and go back to find a job. But old already cannot find a job.

Don't know whether he is trolling or real. But that's the reality. When you are near retirement age and suddenly investment (retirement nest egg) dropped by 50%, it will delay your retirement or force you to accept 50% reduction in quality of life.
