Cost of shopping/food wise is only expensive if you head to those shopping center with international brands else you are shopping for just Thai brands such as in Siam center, it shouldn't cost similar to SG.

Is unfortunate that perfume such as Hugo or CK costs more expensive in a Thai neighborhood mall than in SG, so those international products have better pricing in SG.

Beside even their 7-11 is more targeted to mass consumers unlike the ones we have in SG.

I see thanks for sharing. Jus like Malaysia, domestic brands can be much cheaper as its produced locally. Anw, I went to pratunam few years back, some of their clothes prices can be quite close to sg pricing. The shopping mall food court pricing also not much different from sg?

If you stick to chicken, pork and beer, prices should be around 60~90 baht range at a food court.

Anything seafood related should be 120 baht onwards.
I had a fried sea bass pra ka pao dish at a Thai chain restaurant costing around 165 baht.
Certain Michelin stores like here hai, a crab meat fried rice would cost at least 375 baht onwards.

depends on what you want to buy and the target buyer and items.
clothing in Pratunam is still very cheap comparing to SG.
street food or some shops is also reasonably cheaper.

but of cos those big malls and international makan or shopping, prices will roughly be the same. we ate at Tai Er at Central World and it cost $48 for 2 pax for 2 dishes. confirm is not regular Thai spending...

The general public is urged to act in accordance with what is appropriate, Mr Anutin said. Entertainment venues and service businesses are requested to suspend or reduce entertainment activities for 30 days.

If you choose Pratunum area, from BKK can that ARL to Phaya Thai then grab or take tuk tuk to hotel.
Ratchaprarop station will be on the wrong side of the traffic, unless you walk.
I done that from and to BKK, so fast and convenient.
