- I could hear his/their heavy footsteps above me. It is really like those blardy giants walking......"boom boom boom" noise as he/they walk
- Middle of the night (2am+) could hear the opening and slamming of the doors above me and early morning 5am+ could sometimes hear hammering!
- My next-door neighbour also another kind. Love to slam their gate as they are probably too lazy to close it slowly. Smokers and always leaving their door open. Cluttered home and had to put their cabinet, bicycle etc outside, further cluttering the corridor.

Would have FISH them upside down if I can but I know nothing can be done. As I am typing this, can still hearing the booming footsteps above me!

Report to your mp or town council or the person in charge of your Blick.

same lah my neigbours up and left right front all close door is slam doors, got some idiotic dog owners noisy af, and some idiotic ocd siaolangs.. and also those like to knock knock knock stuff at weird timings one..

rong ago when moi ish yang, moi neighbor below moi hdb keeps complaining that the water pipe in the master bedroom makes alot of noise for them at night. comprain to town council, HDB and we gotten multiple visits where they inspects the pipe and flush while another person ish in their unit below listening. cant identify the source but they keep pointing back to us and the inspections keep coming.

until 1 time they make police report saying we spat on their laundry outside, then moi parents refuted the police after checking with moi and moi brother, subsequently went down knock on their door and f them up side down. no interaction after that till we moved out.

I have been enduring serious noise from above my flat too. Complain to MP also no use.

Have to take things into own hands. But if not handled properly. There will be violence.

Same problem as you. Sometimes it also sounds like they dropped something heavy on the floor.

ya i also got very horrible neighbour, always knock on my door want to give me food... sometimes KFC, sometimes they cook crabs...sometimes this and that, eat until my whole family buibui basket! i suspect they want us to fat die so they happy!!!

neighbour is a horder. anyhow bring back rubbish put at corridor.
house is messy af. like nv mop floor. got stench coming out of their house.
seems to like bicycles and ebikes a lot. the corridor and lvl 1 bicycle parking place become a bicycle grave yard.
will purposely block the corridor during weekends, and see you walk by. will purposely block you.

Downstair burning incense in staircase area but usually at the same timing so i will know when to faster close window. Burn until wall and ceiling all black black.

Upstairs children running from one end to another end of the house. Boom here boom there like surround sound.

then do small business from taobao. previously still dare dare push those NTUC delivery cages up. the delivery man damn yaya. gan all the neighbours. cuz okay lah. close 1 eye. we might put like shoe racks outside the house. complaint to HDB and they cannot do small business in their unit anymore.
but they also find a loophole. so whatever **** right. if town council approach you dont open the door. then the wife will push to the husband. but the husband always not at home. and suspected he got schizophrenia.
got once this new neighbour confronted him. he challenged 1.2m clearance, town council people approached him also challenged the same thing. BEST PART. the town council people nv even use measuring tape to measure wor. dunno i pay miscellaneous fee for what. but actually dont have.
but this guy a lot of story lah. scam bicycle shop to fix his redneck engineering bicycle. then no money pay. then the bicycle shop guy dunno how found his address.

Brother, that's practically the day to day, everyday HDB living... You grew up in that house or your have been staying in that BTO for years... Get use to that or buy a private or buy a terrace house or buy a bungalow?
