I think there's a online form which you need to print and manually submit and then handover to the bank branch in person.

Thereafter call to confirm they have received and are processing the termination of GIRO.

Wah it's almost as troublesome as filling up the GIRO Form and wait for a few weeks approval...
extremely inefficient

My money was deposited on the 30th Jul 25. I shouldn’t have qualify for their EGA BI until I think 1st Nov by their tnc for a newly opened account.

Unless they are treating my account as an old account; I did close all my accounts with HSBC one year plus ago but was surprised when i reopened the EGA in July they gave me back the same account number

$300k forabout 3.77% for 6months as welcome to hsbc premier banking. Wasnt expecting these 2 extra bonuses.

Anybody able to advise on this? If I enrolled my joint acct for EGA in June, then in July I enrol my single account, will my joint account enrolment be amended to July EGA? I was hoping that my joint will not qualify for July enrolment since it was enrolled in June. Then I can continue to enrol for my joint EGA for Aug.
If enrolment of my single acct in July cause my joint to be "amended" as enrolled for July as well, then I will not be able to enrol again for my joint for Aug EGA.

No, your enrollments will be separate as you started with your joint account first. Your joint account will be eligible to enroll in Aug (assuming 2 mth cycle)
