Hello,

We are contacting you about your order xxxxxx. Due to an error, you will receive an item different to the one you ordered.

We are sorry about this. We have refunded you the full amount S$182.98 for the order. Your refund will be on the payment method you used for this order. It can take 3-5 days for the refund to show on your account. You can see the refund details on Your Transactions.

The wrong item is already on the way, so once you receive it, you can choose to keep it at no extra cost, or initiate a return here.

Thank you for choosing Amazon.

i still opt to return and have already done so, refund already in

Abusing the amazon system for profit, or should we say these are great bargain hunter? I could understand why Amazon would rather let them keep it instead of wasting money and resources to ship the bulky casing back. But the casing didn't drop from the sky, someone had to physical transport them from one place to another, plus the cost of the casing, these were all bear by Amazon, yet its the buyer who get all the profit by reselling the casing. :s22:

But who am I to judge if your integrity only worth $80? If you have no use of the casing, why not consider donate it to Charity?

How is this an abuse of Amazon's system when it was Amazon that (1) made a mistake with its listing, (2) continued to ship despite opportunities to check that the item was not what was described in the orders (and stop cancel the orders then) and (3) decide to cut losses by declining the return? Amazon acted on its own volition.

As for how they decide to dispose of the casing, it really is a matter of prerogative. You may decide to donate to charity but that is your choice, and who is to say that some of them may not end up donating the proceeds of the sale to charity? I really don't see the need for you to post what you did in a thread like this, which is for sharing of good deals.

If you aren't in a rush, this is a good price under the present circumstances. Saw this set going for high $400 and a similar set (albeit for DDR5 6000 CL30) for $500+ before the actual BF, hesitated and the promo ended. That DDR5 6000 set is now $900+!
Wah, that's a good deal, especially now. When I'm still considering, actually, there are stocks, and shipping is within 1 month or so. But, while waiting for the coupon, all become no stock.

The 60 off 600 and the Grabpay 10 off? :o
When i try to purchase it, I cannot use the 60 off 600, not sure why, only can use midnight 50 off 350.
also I used up the Grabpay for 2TB Sandisk thumbdrive, so no more grabpay discount.
there are still 64gb kit 5600 cl40 corsair dorminator which i think still cheap.

Actually people also put effort and risk into purchase the item. Even if they want to sell it, it is an effort to sell it. I do not see how it is abuse since Amazon allow it.

Vanity? :o I have a pair of DDR5 6000 CL40 2 x 32Gb for my new system. I was thinking if I can get reasonably priced DDR5 6000 CL30 kits (whether 2 x 32GB or 2 x 48GB) during BF, I'll pass mine to my brother and sell his present Kingston Fury DDR5 5200 2 x 16GB kit to offset the price of the new set.

why? i tried to add to cart, still $887, i think the 96gb is still better value.
You are using your workstation for uses for which Rams are the more the merrier. You have also come to the conclusion that it's less worrisome to go for 2 sticks instead of 4 sticks of Rams because of potential stability issues. That being the case, if I am in your position, I would go for the maximum amount I can cram into 2 slots, which is 2 x 64GB. With that set being $900+, which is about what many 96GB kits or even 64GB kits are going for, I would think it is a almost must buy, budget permitting. That extra 32GB is about $300, which, again, is about what 32GB kits are going for now. That is without the headache of dealing with 4 sticks.
