Just want to mention that the "S$15 hi! 5G+ Plan" is still a prepaid service by IMDA classification. The other three 4G Monthly plans are Postpaid plans by IMDA classification.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi

I got the S$15 SIM from Shopee. Cheaper way is to get from the online link at S$12.80 but the collection locations are limited (mainly Changi Airport). The authorized dealer may not have the SIM Card yet for sale. SingTel Shop Jurong Point Prepaid Counter does not have it either. They told me nearest location to buy the SIM Card from Boon Lay is at Bugis Cube.

https://www.pelago.com/en-US/activity/pgaawq35u-15-hi-sim-card-singapore/

Just an update.

Now I got the 500GB entitlement and 5G NSA connection.

Somehow the validity extends to 30 May 2026, much longer than what I expected. Usually prepaid card has at most 180 days validity.

For those M1 Prepaid card users who want to use for number parking, not so sure if you can port to this prepaid card in the future or not. By right it is possible but SingTel Shops may not offer this SIM Card as of now.

I have not tested whether the S$3 IDD add-on 180 days extensions. You can still buy this S$3 add-on within SingTel hi! Prepaid App. I tend to think this extension trick is still working. (Edit to add: yes this extension trick is still working as confirmed by other users).

it's just the usual $15 card. any singtel shop will have it.

I don't think so.

At least the guys in SingTel Shop Jurong Point told me the S$15 Prepaid SIM card they are selling do not have the 500GB data, only 150GB.

Edit to add: but then after 28 days then no more differences. Both can use the same S$15 hi!Surprise top-up offer to get 500GB data.

But please take note the good 500GB data bundle is only valid for 28 days.

After that you will have to top up for more data, and S$15 top can only get you 150GB data (5GB roaming data to MBIIT), using the hi! Prepaid App's exclusive offer for "S$15 5G+ Ultimate Plan".

Other so-called exclusive offer "5G+ Ultimate Plans" from within the hi! Prepaid app:

S$20 for 250 GB data (10GB roaming data to MBIIT)

S$25 for 288GB data (248 GB roaming data to Malaysia, 228GB roaming data to BIIT)

S$35 for unlimited data, unlimited roaming to MBIIT

These offers are indeed better than what are published ones in SingTel website.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/prepaid-plans/hi-topup-cards

Edit to add: there is a better in-app hi!Surprise top-up offer at S$15 to get the same benefits as the S$15 prepaid SIM card.

Bro, the singtel shop guy is confused. how did he get 150gb?

See https://www.singtel.com/personal/terms/prepaid-mobile-terms

All Singtel hi prepaid $15 come with base of 100Gb, plus *bonuses*.

The two young guys were showing me the S$15 5G+ Ultimate plan, which does offer 150GB data as per the hi! Prepaid App's exclusive offer (website only shows 100GB).

Then I asked them whether that was just a top-up card and not a SIM card. They seem to be confident that they have the SIM Card.

I did not ask further.

Screenshots to show the entitlement.

The S$15 SIM Card is not bad for one time usage (28days).

As mentioned, I am suprised of the long validity time. Maybe this is also a special promotion.

The online buying side says that the SIM Card is only valid for 90 days.

(Take note I bought the SIM Card at higher price from Shopee Singtel Prepaid Shop since it has free delivery to my nearby collection point).

After 28 days, if you want to continue using the data, you have to top-up. And there is no more such good data bundle any more. S$15 will get you 150GB, still not too bad for occassional usage.

For regular data usage, prepaid is not a good option. Better to go with postpaid SIM only plans.

So far only 5G NSA connection and no 5G SA connection for the SingTel Prepaid card.

SingTel is providing free 5G+ Prepaid SIM Card upgrade to existing users to prepare for the broader 5G SA network deployment since 5G NSA needs to shut down by 1 Jan 2026, as per the IMDA directive.

Same for SingTel based MVNOs. No 5G SA as of now but should be soon.

M1 5G Prepaid Card already supports 5G SA connection. I have tested it. This is the same as M1 Maxx and Circles.Life (M1 based MVNO).

StarHub's new Prepaid Plans also support 5G SA connection. But since they are PostPaid Plans as per IMDA classification, they probably do not belong to this thread any more.

Actually there is a much better S$15 hi!Surprise data plan offer inside SingTel hi! Prepaid app to give you the same benefits for another 28 days.

Screenshot for reference from my Singel hi! Prepaid App, including the entitlement and the hi! Suprise Top Up offer.

The main suprise is the long validity duration. The website only says 90 days but it is actually 6 month.

And the top-up offer basically says that you can pay S$15 per 28 days to enjoy the same benefit after the initial 28 days. But I do not know how long this special offer will continue.

Typical S$15 top-up only gets you 150GB.

1) Main page:

2) Special offer for S$15 "hi!Surprise" top-up offer

3) S$3 IDD top-up offer is still there inside the app.

Just a summary for Singtel/M1 Prepaid Cards for regular data usage.

They are kind of comparable to Starhub Prepaid M plan (S$15 per month).

1) Singtel 5G hi!Suprise top-up offer at S$15 per 28 days, offer inside Singtel hi! Prepaid App only.

2) M1 Prepaid 5G S$14 all-in-one top-up at S$14 per 28 days.

3) Starhub Prepaid M plan 5G at S$15 per month. Take note Starhub Prepaid M plan is a Postpaid plan as per IMDA classification (up to 10 lines and not 3 lines for Prepaid).

Regular SIM Only plans are still better, even if we only talk about 5G based plans, like M1 Maxx S$10 plan, Eight S$14.8 plan, Zym S$15.10 Roam Smart Plan, etc.

CMLink S$15 plan (50% off offer for 6 month for new sign-up until 18-Dec-2025). It is using Singtel network.

CMLink S$10.10 (4G plan with six month free 5G) and S$15 plan at 50% OFF for six months.

I can confirm the $3 IDD extend method for Singtel prepaid still work, just bought it today at shopee & new expiry date is 6/6/26.

Great.

This makes SingTel Prepaid one of the best options for number parking purpose.

S$3 for 180 days and S$6 for 360 days. The real world may be a bit higher as there may be some data leaks for SingTel.

Singtel Prepaid FAQ:
https://cdn1.singteldigital.com/con...ingtel-5g-plus-ultimate-plan-faq-20250416.pdf

21. Why do I get charged for data usage even after turning off mobile data on my phone?

As we transit our customers from the 3G network to the 4G network, you may notice a small amount of data traffic even after switching off data on your handset. This data traffic is incurred when your handset connects to the network, and is unavoidable if you are using a mobile phone.

Prepaid customers are encouraged to top up with a data plan to avoid pay-per-use data charges being deducted from your Main Account.

This looks like "outdated info"!

Because we just need to call hotline, and it will "stop"!

Mine is until Feb, then I will know if it is still "eating money"!

The only true prepaid sims are from Singtel and M1 am i correct? Starhub prepaid doens't work like a prepaid in a convetional sense anymore. Simba prepaid doens't work like a prepaid either right?

Does Singtel prepaid upgrade to a 5g network card work with 4g only phones?
