Better to get Eight/SIMBA for voice call needs when overseas. StarHub's new 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum plans also have free voice roaming feature but they are expensive.

Do not even reject the call when using Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI/CMLink roaming when overseas as you may still get charged for one minute. You need to ignore the voice call to you Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI/CMLink number.
Alternative is to call forward all your calls to Eight / SIMBA before going to overseas. The "call divert" will just be normal Spore call mins usage and not international roaming calls

Refer to this post in Zero1 thread Post 1 and Post 2

Looks like it may or may not work, especially when you need the main number to be on to receive SMS.

Report shows that M1 may not work.

Based on your report, this method should work for Singtel, Zero1/Zym/VIVIFI/CMLink, and most likely Singtel Gomo as well.

If i were to port zym to zero1 also got free trial?
Are you referring to the 5G Trial 180 days? Nope, not ST to ST network, they did state only Heya/Gomo on the T&C.

Best if you port out to Maxx, Eight or Giga, for example.

The topic above was talking about the free 6-month sub (which expired) not 5g Trial, think you got confused.

Zym has a very weird system. Last year i have five lines with them and i ported over to redone due to promo. But after redone promo ended,i ported five lines back to zym. But now i want to port another line from eight to zym,but their system say i have ten lines already, and i have to go down to clear off the five lines from their system. Now i have ported my eight to cmlink since they have 50% for six months. Six months later after promo end, then i might port to zero1 if there is no promo

Mass migration of lines is hard to keep up with. Not much of a choice system gets confused...

After i port out, their system should be empty but why still have lines? Now their system has 10 lines and actually 5 are active 5 are non-active

IMHO.
I recall reading somewhere that the original telco need to maintain the number for number portability.

Looks like for legal reasons: AI result:

*In Singapore, a non-active or inactive mobile line is typically held for a grace period of around 60 days before it is permanently terminated. Telcos are required to retain associated customer data for a longer period due to legal and business obligations, often for several years after the line's termination.

Not sure if this is going to account for "porting" failure or porting quotas

Just swapped my sim card at Samsung store before receiving any email asking to swap. Staff just checked and make sure that mine is old sim in their system then proceed with the sim swap. New sim is active right away but I don't see 5G SA on my S23 Ultra yet. Anything new? Any special icon? :ROFLMAO:

Just trying to get it done earlier before I travel again till next year.

Anyone been to Guangzhou on Zym? How is the connection? Got 5G?

Had a bad experience on GOMO when I was at Chengdu earlier this year. Just wanna find out how is Zym’s connection.
