Did you watch the video?

The guy instinctively held up the gun and pointed it at the shooter upon immediately disarming him.

Not everyone has the benefit of seeing the disarming of the shooter. Polis are informed shots fired, multiple dead / wounded, possible multiple shooters. With someone who is pointing a firearm at a now unarmed shooter, there is immediate danger to life. You think they are going to wait and see if you lay down your arms and put your hands up? Or ask you eh excuse moi are chiu the shooter or the hero har?

They waiting to tio shot so that they can respawn at start point isit?

And that was indeed what happened, he was indeed mistaken for the shooter by BOTH the polis and bystanders. Thanks @beano for the post. He put his hands up and still got shot at by polis. Because ppl on the ground are not in god mode machiam playing FPS die already can see what's going on from the sky.

So many keyboard experts just say "who ask you to pick up the gun", "don't pick up the gun", "just put your hands up". You think this is Hollywood?
I just saw the video from tik tok. It's unfortunate that :
1. Ethnicity of the man who kicked the rifle away from the gunman is the same ethnicity of the gunman.
2. They both wear black and maybe that's why the police shot at him as probably the police received a general description of the gunmen as middle Eastern men wearing black as well as his proximity to the gunman and his weapon.
3. I do not see the hero picking up the rifle from the gunman in the video I saw so the police probably shot at him due to how he fits the general description of the gunmen.
4. I still say that putting your hands up and kneeling down at that situation in the video is still the hero's best bet compared to running away. We can see from the video that the police did not continue shooting at him once he got a clear view of the hero putting his hands up without weapons. Of course, some people will say don't be hero and rush up to help but the fact is that he already did.

Wasn't the hero wearing white? When did he change clothing to black? There is some confusion going on here.
The tiktok is probably some other fellow who went up to confront the gunman after he had fallen.

The takedown hero was wearing white top on black longs, and this tiktok hero is wearing black top on black shorts.
