So I actually no need 10 Gbps right?

So GT-AX6000 max is 3 Gbps right?

If happen to sign $29.90 promo then I need to get 2x RT-BE92U or go for BT10? is it worth it to get the promo?

GT-AX6000 is okay for 3Gbps plan (it has 2.5Gbe WAN).

Since you do not have 10Gbps capable device, I do not think it is worth going for the 10Gbps plan.

i see cos now can early recontract, they give wifi 7 router.
so just upgrade to 3 Gbps will be good right? but if got $29.90 for 10 Gbps, is it good to take?

If you really like to go with 10Gbps, just go ahead.

You can still keep using the Asus ROG GT-AX6000 in this case.

Or as I mentioned, get one RT-BE92U and use it as the main router for the 10Gbps plan and then use GT-AX6000 as the mesh node, no need to go with two RT-BE92U or two ZenWiFi BT10.

ZenWiFi BT10 is a better in terms of wireless spec than RT-BE92U but you may need to add a 10Gbe/2.5Gbe switch as it does not have enough LAN ports for your use case.

RT-BE92U may be easier for your use case since you do not seem to have 10Gbe capable wired device.

BTW, do you have WiFi 7 capable wireless devices?

In the end it is your money your decision.

Currently using 2.5gbps plan but due to PC lan card only able to get max 1gbps speed. I am looking to take m1 recontract offer to sign up 6-10gbps and am looking at options to increase my network speed.

My motherboard only has an empty pci x1 slot. I did a search and most require at least x4.. alternatively I can get a USB 5-10gbps adapter for a much cheaper price and connect to the USB 3.2 port.

Seems a USB lan adapter is the best option to increase my speed? Or should I get a USB wifi adapter? Any recommendations which adapter?

There are quite some cheap options to go with 5Gbe capable PCIe network adapters. Then there are also PCIe x 1 slot based 10Gbe adpater (quite new). They are better than USB based 5Gbe/10Gbe adapters.

Please check out this thread.

Anyone knows if I were to get the Asus bt10 at additional $12 a month for 24 months and then in the future if I were to early recontract let’s say at the 21st month, do I still have to pay the remaining $12 for 3 months or is it waived off and then the new contract price kicks in?

Thanks, what I meant was do you have other high value mobile phone plans with M1 and that's why they give you additional $5 discount, was only given $5 discount for the recontract. additional discount seems to be case by case and not applied to all m1 subscribers.
Hi! Nope. At the point of time where the promo appeared, my existing fibre broadband the contract was about to expire within 7 days (literally a week's time). Was from 1gbps at $36+ I think? So jumped to 10gbps at $29.90.

My mobile telco is Singtel.

I mix and match to my needs, don't stick to the same provider/ all in one basket.

Hope this info helps...

Thanks, yeah a few bros mentioned that as well: to wait till very near contract expiry for better deals.

i think you are right as using AX6000 to get 2.5Gbps is good enough for me.
Even 2.5Gbps, i also need to get pcie network card.

Maybe don't even need to get RT-BE92U, can get the free router ASUS RT-BE58U as main and GT-AX6000 as mesh node.

for wifi 7 wireless devices, currently got 17 pro max and indent to get s26 ultra.

I recontract just. $34.90 10Gbps. Keeping my AX-6000 2.5Gbe router. Speed test at ont is >8000Mbps. >2300Mbps from router’s internal Speedtest. More than enough for my home use. No real need for 10Gbps, mainly for the price.
Just to check u take the free router ASUS RT-BE58U or upgrade to ASUS RT-BE92U for your main and AX-6000 as node?

If you go with 3Gbps, then just keep ROG GT-AX6000 as the main router (dual 2.5G ports, much faster BCM4912 CPU), it is way better than RT-BE58U (only single 2.5G port, slow CPU).

Ur offer comes with free router? My 10Gbps recontract offers no free router. Only the 6Gbps comes with free router but at $40+ per mth.

Not 10Gbps offer, i looking at current boardband offer in the website.

Maybe looking to take 3Gpbs plan and either take the free ASUS RT-BE58U or top up $13/mth for ASUS RT-BE92U.
