I do notice some of the older folks more easily offended, narrow minded, curt and abrasive. Maybe many are already like that but it is suppressed when younger. Then when older, they feel there is no need to “please” others

Especially after becoming a father, some news last time will have no effect, now will trigger emotional reaction. Like when I saw the China town accident little girl in her father’s send, just can’t help think what if that was my girl and can feel both eyes getting red

No... not at all. People do change, but there is no FIX way to change. I guess if you are young and you see people who are old/young, then you draw a conclusion, that's incorrect way to see thing.

If you have live until old, and you watch how people transition during that period, then you have a better judgement on this.

A couple of years ( I think ) back, I responded to a post about an Indian (country) girl who got "abused" ( censorship safe term) by his father's friends (or something like that ), felt very angry reading about it and said if I were the father I would do some very nasty things to the so called friends.
