They only offer me the $29.90 promo after I sent in my termination request. By then is already too late as I already jump ship to the green side.

That's why i hated dealing with singtel. Every 2 year must "beg" them for the deal. Their normal price is very expensive.

But i no choice cos elderly parents wanna watch singtel tv channels.

The normal new home offer on SingTel website is not as good as the above offer.

[New homeowners] Get a plan starting from $38.70/mth

https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/new-homes

3Gbps mesh (two HB611-SGST nodes) at S$38.70 per month

5Gbps mesh (two HB611-SGST nodes) at S$49.70 per month

10Gbps Enhanced plan (one HB810) at S$62.90 per month

I got a call from SingTel who offer me $49.90 for 3 Gbps. Crazy price. i told them I will consider to terminate after contract end. They say they will check for better offer and call me back.

Indeed.

The not-so-good recontract offer is at S$39.90 per month for SingTel 3Gbps plan with one free HB611-SGST.

Your offer is much worse than the above.

On the other hand, the good recontract offer of S$29.90 per month for either 3Gbps or 5Gbps (with one free HB611-SGST) seems to be not easy to get recently.

i ask them about the 39.90 price and they say is only for new subscriber. Old customer has to pay more. What a joke.

Nice. The second deal for 3Gbps mesh at S$39.70 per month is in line with previous offer at S$39.90. And you get the S$50 NTUC Fairprice voucher. This is a decent offer.

i just upgraded to 3gbps to be installed in march. the plan only provides one HB611. If i want to add another to extend my range which would be better to buy?
1) HB611
2) HB710 - but unsure if can work with singtel HB611
3) BE230

In this case, it is better to go with HB611-SGST to play safe.
