will they allow a person to take up more than 5 modules per sem? will it have enough classes every week?
Will they allow...? I think they might, if you insist... Persistently. Haha. But only overload if you think you can do it... Otherwise, you're just going to waste your money (should you fail).
Max is 20CUs per sem, so an additional 5 CUs is not difficult, but may be hard to find if your modules are paired up like most. More likely scenario would be, you'd need to take up 30CUs if you want to overload. The HoPs usually discourage 1st year 1st sem students from overloading, but you can insist and they probably will let you with a stern "don't say we didn't warn you hor".
After 1st sem, if you have a perfect GPA (like someone in this forum

) or close enough to it, they will allow you to take on more CUs with no/less hesistation.
Another factor is scheduling... Not all modules are open every semester, so you'll have to see if you can find mods which fit perfectly to your schedule, where for example, you have classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This depends on the modules available, and the days they fall on, so check the schedule properly and plan your whole 4 years during your 1st sem, if possible. Seriously.

My advice (if you want it) is to take up 20CUs of compulsory modules first along with some uCores (if UniSIM have them ready by then), and then decide if you want to overload in the 3rd sem onwards (since when you choose your 2nd sem modules, your 1st sem results won't be out yet), based on your results and learning experience.
Hope that helps.
Edit : BEng Aerospace Systems is actually not an Honours degree programme. So the min amount of time needed is just 3 years (if you don't get any exemptions), not 4. Cheers.
up for my own question...
Got for both uCores. Don't be sad, k? lol.
