If you dun run multi GPU $574 is way too high for features u wouldn't use

I saw your topdog post at VRforum. May i know then meaning of the remark column? Up to Up to 2560 x 1600 / 30" gaming, 16x + 16x crossfire.

I am currently using 22" Samsung LCD widescreen monitor.

P2X4 955BE + MSI 790FX-GD70 = $578 (PCT)
2 X 2GB Team Elite 1333 = $124 (Video Pro)
PC HD5870 = $589
WD 500 Black = $99
Samsung SATA DVDRW = $31
Aerocool E85M 700 = $159
CM 690 = $139
$1685
Remarks: Up to 2560 x 1600 / 30" gaming, 16x + 16x crossfire

Oh a few things

Come April 26th, Top Dog config will sport a 890FX and all the good stuff so that would be outdated in like 5-6 weeks hehe

The HD 5870 would be giving *playable* frames for the most part up to that resolution and offers the full 16x + 16 x crossfire with 2 GPUs Best hit the GPU with the most teeth your budget affords and i'd just hit 890GX if future-proof is your thang ^^

So are you suggesting that i should wait until April 26th? how much price difference will it be?

Intel Core i5 750 & ASUS P7P55D ~ $533
Team Elite DDR3-1333MHz 4GB (2X2GB) ~ $148
MSI HD 5850 ~ $420 or Palit GTX 275 ~ $339 or XFX HD 4890 1GB ~ $249
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 32MB ~ $149
Samsung SATA 22X DVD Rewriter ~ $31
Enermax MODU82+ 525W ~ $119 or Seasonic M12II-520Bronze 520W ~ $119

Good enough to pay most game on the market on a 24" monitor? Daily usage will be web surfing, playing games, editing videos or photos. Please advice.

Kuro:
Whats your budget?
24" should go for 5850 or 5870 if you go for the more graphic intensive games.
Black 1tb @ $130 only at PCT
Look at andyson 530w @ $69
Although I feel that AMD build is better (sorry, AMD fanboy) =P

temasekcity:
Gaming rig why get the WD 1.5TB green? Get the black 1TB black at $152 or 640gb at $100 if no need so much storage? I think the 640 quite value for money now, using it at the moment.

Vesius:
AMD 630 + TA790GX A3+ $291
Sapphire HD 5770 vapor-x $249
Samsung 22x dvdrw $30
WD blacck 640gb $100
KVR 1333 2 x 2GB $150
Andyson 530W $69
total $889, remainder for you to buy casing, can look at NZXT or lian-li lancool?
