Hi, just received my provisional offer SMS. Does anyone know whether we use the Joint Admission exercise website to accept NIE's offer or through other means?

I'm thinking the letter may not arrive in time for this exercise (closes 1st June) since they mentioned it would take about 2-3 weeks to receive.

Thankyou!

Hi all! I'm new to this forum, joined to reply to this thread lol :s13: I applied for the BA/BSc degree too and I was just wondering if experience in teaching (eg. relief teaching, contract teaching) is necessary for me to get the degree? Anyone who got the degree without having any teaching experience?

Hi there. I know of people who got the degree offer without having teaching experience at all but they did very well academically. But I do understand that having teaching experience does give you better chances=)

Hope this helps.

Thank you! My interview's coming and I'm quite worried about not having teaching experience. Pray they won't ask about it. I'll pause and not know what to say lol...silence...

No problem. Are you going for the general interview? Most probably they'll ask. My friend was asked, "Other applicants have teaching experiences, but you dont. What makes you think you are suitable for this career?" And lots of other hard questions. They were very cold to us (the interviewees).

Yep general interview. Uh oh. I better think of something to say. The interview sounds really scary and nerve-wrecking. I can just imagine them firing questions at me. I'll spend the next few days preparing myself mentally sighs.

Hi all, like Deranged, I joined the forums just to post here too even though I just read this thread silently most of the time.

My problem now is that I called NIE up ytd who told me to call MOE and this cust svc exec actually told me that I am shortlisted for interview for ba/bsc after checking with my IC number. However, I have not received any sms/letters. The person refuse to tell me the date of my interview also (if i actually AM shortlisted), just tell me wait for letter and said letters sent in batches blahblah. I wonder if anyone have been/is in this situation as well. I have not received rejection letters from NTU yet. >_<
