The rate of 990FX leaks is similar to the rate of Z68 leaks. Encouraging signs for an early June launch. Thanks adrianlee :)

In Abu Dhabi, Advanced Micro Devices Outlines AMD Fusion APU Benefits
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43073122
Rick Bergman, Senior Vice President and GM of AMD's Product Group, gave a presentation which provided insight into the value the upcoming "Llano" APUs will deliver.

"The upcoming 'Llano' APU, combined with our popular C- and E-series AMD Fusion APUs, represents one of the most significant leaps forward in computing in decades. Our 'Llano' Fusion APU will enable consumers to enjoy a brilliant high definition experience along with unprecedented discrete-level GPU compute power for a notebook PC," said Bergman. "We are very excited to be here in Abu Dhabi to share with the region firsthand what the AMD Fusion family of APUs will mean for the industry moving forward as well as highlight the role of GLOBALFOUNDRIES in helping us bring our 32nm APUs to market."

I really hope those cinebench results are true and not be like that previous brazilian leak....

Opinion check: If AMD BD 6 and 8 core variants can beat their i5-2500K and i7-2600K competitors in multi-threaded programs while coming close to a draw on less multi-thread stuff,

Will their price be more expensive than the current Sandybridge lineup?

How much more?

Just wondering coz I delayed my build till after my June stipend payday in order to wait for Bulldozer release

Earlier AMD slides shown that 8 core BD will be priced around the same level in term of system pricing with i7-2600k.
If all other components are equal, that means BD+MB will be more or less same with i7-2600k + MB.

i've frequently seen the infamous i5-2500k + biostar p67 built recommended around this forum. anyone knows BD build parallel to that?

Lol while I agree that the Cinebench leak looks good (somebody on XS forum was even claiming it's a 6-Core variant:eek:), I think it's best not to get our hopes up. It might still be fake though :/
