last i tried was 80 for basic shirt. measurements a quite ****** up. so better go with a shirt with measurements you like. want details need top up extra like 10 or 20. got some nice cloth and will do felled seam with no extra.

im getting my shirts tomorrow from them, hope everything all rite, will post some pics if i do not need any more amendments :o

Exactly where is the Tampines tailor some folks were talking about? I only know its behind Tamp One, nearer to the library. I walked and walked and see no tailor. :( Any enlightening directions?

to all those who are very particular. do specifically ask for a felled seam whenever you go to a new tailor because most will give you those **** up seams that low end tailors give.

Clothesmith vs Raphael Gabriel

I've been using Clothesmith for a while. They are pretty good but am finding that the prices are getting steeper, especially with special trims and such.

Recently saw a new shop called Raphael Gabriel. Anyone has tailored anything with them can share their experience?

so do you carry a variety of gingham checks? how much for a basic shirt with it? your shirts have felled seam?

Yes. We do carry a variety of gingham checks. Seeing that you are such a veteran, I'm assuming you are asking for a basic (Other fancy frills are charged separately), gingham checks, Egyptian cotton, 2-ply long sleeve shirt would start from $99 onwards. If you want felled seam on the sides, it would be $109.

But please bear in mind that as the lunar new year is around the corner, you might need to wait for an extra week or 2, depending on when you make your shirt, as our tailors would be on their annual lunar new year leave.

You can considered the alteration shops at Far East Plaza? they have quite a few. You can try Clancy (i think this is how it is spelt) on the 4th floor, or the other smaller alteration shops.

You should do it soon as their clothes stack seems to be growing, resulting in a longer waiting time.

Hi I just had a stack of clothes that was done at Clancy's for the first time(my first time altering clothes as well) my bill came to around 40++ per shirt though I kinda did alot. (Narrow sleeve, tighter waist and some shorter sleeve)

according to my friends they say i kena tok haha... thus came in for some other recommendations or pricing wise it's ok?
