i dont understand why singtel wont just do the release like m1 and starhub instead of special event limited to 10,000 people so frustrating for the other 58k people who showed their interest. now have to wait until who knows when.

Better than queuing at m1 & starhub without knowing if u will get it. Just ask those who queued overnight at epicentre etc. all curse & swear

for those on multisim (for iphone and ipad), below is what happen to me just now:

they will replace one of your micro sim with the new nano sim... however, those who tried to cut the normal sim to the micro sim (which i did), they will replace you with a new micro sim and one nano sim... after a few hours, the new sim cards will be activated...

only reason y i stayed with st because of their network and cs otherwise i would have gone to the orange side. i guess better than queuing, but the wait for the iphone with no idea of when they will get stocks is similar

Just to share, today i attend the 8-10am slot. I make the sale guy open 6 sets of IP5 lol. Luckily i got check properly, cause out of the 6 set, 5 are randomly side got rough surface or dent or the back casing is badly scratch. i wonder how apple foxcon pass the QA sia.

Btw first charge are we suppose to discharge completely and charge it to full 8 hours or straight charge to 8 hours?

Finally back home with my iPhone 5!

I was the first 55!
Reached around 7.20am.
Allowed entrance at 7.30am.

Once inside they check my contract.
Confirm plan and voucher.

After that wait 8am...
Once after watching the launch video and the CEO talk...
Choing to counter to activate phone and made payment.
By 815am I'm done.

Slowly explore the hall after purchase.

Within 5 minutes my SIM was activated.

I queued for less than 15 minutes and first blood the phone.
So happy!
