I am using a few credit cards to maximise their benefits. I am sure there are many of you out there who are doing likewise. Can we consolidate all info. I will sort by merchants. This will make it easier for us, I believe. Please note that I am looking at cash rebates benefits. Not interested in those points system. Thanks!

I will update it regularly so that we don't have to refer to so many threads and look through each page one by one. I will start the ball rolling. :D

Rebates for Cards which require Minimum Spending
Personally, I am not too familiar with this as I usually don't use such card. I find it a hassle having to keep track how much I spend in a month. Anyway, for the benefits of those who are interested, I will compile the list here. :)

ANZ Platinum
Min spend of $600 monthly, CAP $300 per quarter.
1. Recurring Bill [5%] - M1, Starhub, Bishan-TPY Town Council, Holland-BP TC, Marine Parade TC, Pasir Ris-Punggol TC, Sembawang TC, Tampines TC, Tanjong Pagar TC
2. Online Merchant [5%] - Agoda.com, Amazon.com, Apple.com.sg, AsiaTravel.com, Asos.com, Deal.com.sg, Expedia.com.sg, Qoo10.sg, Groupon.sg, HotelClub.com, Hotels.com, KFCOnline.com.sg, M1shop.com.sg, McDelivery.com.sg, Net-a-porter.com, Noelgifts.com, Pizzahut.com.sg, Reebonz.com, Singtelshop.com, SISTIC.com.sg, Tarazz.com, Theoutnet.com, VPost.com.sg, Zuji.com.sg
3. Groceries [5%] - Cold Storage, Market Place, Jasons, ThreeSixty, Giant
4. Transport [5%] - ALL ERP transaction when you sign up for MotorPay, EZ-Reload auto top-ups
Verdict: This looks GOOD. If I can achieve $600 monthly spend, I may use this as my main card. If it has petrol rebate, hitting $600 should be easy.

UOB ONE Card
If you can consistently spend $300, $800 or $1500 per month for 3 consecutive months, you will get $30, $80 or $150 rebate respectively. There must also be at least 3 transactions made per month. This works out to be 3.33%. Con: May not be easy to achieve and keep track.

Standard Chartered SingPost Platinum
Min spend of $500 per month. CAP $50 per month.
1. Any supermarket [6%]
2. Online purchase [2%]
3. Clout Shoppe/vPost purchase [2%]
4. Others [0.25%]

HSBC Revolution Credit Card
Min spend of $300 per month for 3 months. CAP $100
1. EZlink Reload [7%]
2. Budget Airlines [5%] - Welcome To Tiger Airways, www.airasia.com, Cheap flights | Jetstar, FlyScoot.com: We're gearing up for adventure
Verdict: Looks good but the $300 monthly spend is difficult to achieve since you are using other cards for other payment.

Citibank SMRT Card
Min spend of $600 per month. If it is below $600, there will be a reduction of 0.3% on the rebate, which is not signnificant IMO. Please note that in addition to the rebate stated here, you will also get 2% Citi rebate at some of these merchants. This will effectively make the SMRT cards very attractive. Click here to find out the merchants participating in the Citi Rebate Program.
1. Groceries [5%] - Giant, Cold Storage, Market Place, Sheng Siong, Shop n Save, Selected NTUC outlets, Singapore Meidi-Ya Supermarket.*at least $50 per transaction is required.
2. Coffee [5%] - Starbucks Coffee, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Coffee Club, Dome Cafe, TCC, Gloria Jean's Coffees
3. Health & Beauty [2%] - Watson, Guardian, Unity, GNC, Nature's Farm.
4. Restaurant [2%] - Crystal Jade, Swensen, Sakae Sushi, Jack's Place
5. Citibank One Bill [2%] - M1, Singtel, Starhub, ACE Insuarnce, Prudential, Pac Net, SPH, Selected Town councils
6. Ezlink reload [2%], Any other spending [0.3%]

Add: just read up at the maybank website, the 5% is rebate and not upfront disc, is that all your understanding and this will be capped to $600 starting 2013.

Plus! Card = 5% instant off for Fairprice brands and earn link points at 2 points per $3 as a Linkpoint member. (1.3% rebate), so to maximize, use Manybank card or other rebates cards to buy NTUC Vouchers, then use the Plus! Card for > $10 purchase.

And my mum get additional 2% rebate as a senior citizen on Tuesday.

Just checked out the OCBC website regarding this card. Basically there is no different using this card and the normal Plus Card. It is still 2 linkspoints for every $1 spend. This card is good for those who usually buy the NTUC housebrand.

Yes, my mother usually does her groceries shopping on Tuesday to enjoy the additional 2%. I gave her a supplementary card and she helps me get the 5% rebate as well. :)

Yes, I spend a bit of time compiling. This is for my own personal reference as well.

Thanks to all who have contributed. I will look through and update accordingly. :)

Yes, the Maybank card is very useful to me as I spend quite a bit at NTUC and Popular every month.

Using it will not affect your accumulation of linkpoints. I will use the linkpoints to pay for things if it is less than $20. This is because for less than $20, you won't be able to claim linkpoints anyway. So might as well use the linkpoints to offset the cost. :)

Not sure about maybank cards as I don't have them.
Nevertheless, if you got plus card, and buying housebrand, can get 10% off. Exclude some not-sure-What under the t&c

I know you are only interested in cash rebates, but remember that many of the 'points system' cards can redeem the points for cash rebates, which may, in some cases, give better rewards than the straight cash rebates.

Eg.

Using POSB Everyday card at SPC gives 17.55% rebates as you pointed out. However, if you use Amex rewards card on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you get a straight 16% discount, and uo to 6 MR points/$. 2,000 points can be redeemed for $10 credit to your statement. This is equivalent to another 3.333% discount, giving you a total of 18.8% discount.

For Shell, there is also the Maybank World Mastercard. Again, points earning, but works out to be about 19.5% total discount, + Shell points.

For groceries, it should be as follows:
NTUC, Sheng Shiong, Shop & Save: SCB Singpost card (6%)
Cold Storage & Giant: Citibank SMRT Card (5% + 2% Citi Rebate)

For Guardian, Citibank cards (including Dividend) also get an additional 2% CitiRebate

EZ-Link Reload highest rebate is HSBC Revolution card (7%)

On the transport section:

1. Comfort/Citicab - POSB Everyday Card [11%] - till 31 Oct

Does that means you will get 11% rebate if you pay your cabfare by POSB Everyday Card?

E.g. if the cabfare is $10, you will get $1.10 rebate credited into your credit card?

low your expectation to $0.1 as Do note that there is a 10% administrative charge for using credit cards to pay for your cab fare.

It is a current promotion from DBS. Refer here for more info. You have to pay via the Mastercard PayPass. Valid till end of Oct.

Oh thanks for the info. I did not know that as I usually don't pay via credit card when taking cab. Taxi driver usually don't like card payment. The driver will usually ask me whether I will be paying via card whenever I got into the car.
