My speed drop from 100mb/s to 8mb/s for 1 week already, going to cal m1 today. I restart my rt56u also no use. Anyine experience it also? Living in yishun.

Maybe ill try restarting the ont from nucleus connect first. Nv restart before

Disconnect router, connect laptop direct to ONT, do a reboot. If possible, change network wire also to check.

I received a call from m1 just now claiming that my scheduled Black ONT installation has been cancelled due to a technical fault with their network on the openet side.

Any other bros also got call from m1? I hope M1 staff can verify this claim? or is it a convenient reason to postpone my instillation?

Just to share. These are the fees I paid when my current contract (with White ONT) expired and sign up a new contract (with Black ONT):

1. Termination of service (even though I finished the full 2 years contract) : $32.10
2. Collection of White ONT : $12.84
3. Installation of Black ONT : $58.85

I do not have a Residential Gateway.

Fren, u can save some $$$ by calling M1 to waive off ur point 1.

Delays in opennet side is not unheard of.
Your billing cycle will be upon activation, so don't worry.

I just got Gamerplan 200Mbs fiberwire installed.
So my setup is the black ONT and the Linksys E4200.
So i plug my router to the ONT .
And my Macbook to my router (to check the speed) and all i get is 13++Mbs Upload and Download of 3++Mbs . And this is not even international speed test yet.
Is something wrong?

Its wired. I found out why already.
I Had put media priority priority on my XBOX360. but when i remove it . i get 200mbs on a wiredconnection. but can i not set a limit on how much my xbox360 take?

Thanks. Tried that yesterday. The guy insisted it is in the contract. Going to try again today.

Now, I have 2 M1 Fibre concurrently running : 1 White ONT and 1 Black ONT. They said it takes 35 days to terminate. Crazy!

Hey guys I just got my m1 fibre broadband 100mbps installed yesterday. Did a speedtest and the best I got is only 40mbps download, otherwise average is 25mbps only.
I am using a dlink dir-600 router(n150). Router in living room and computer in bedroom getting 4 out of 5 bars signal.
Are my speeds normal or should I upgrade my router to a stronger one?

Does that mean you wouldn't be getting connectivity at all? So what if you're torrenting? Kaboom?

Are you testing using wifi? If so, connect directly using a LAN Wire to the router.
To test if really your router issue, do the following.

1) Connect directly to router via LAN, do a speed test.
2) Connect directly to ONT via LAN wire, reboot all equipment, do a speedtest.

If speed connected via router is significantly slower, time to see your piggybank can afford new router.

there are cases whereby opennet side have problems activating the signal at their end and thus causing the rescheduling for the black ont. such cases are rare & issue lies on opennet end.
