Victim of another hit and run!!

I just got back from Seoul last night and this afternoon when I reached my car, the rear right of my car was hit. The panel above the wheel was dented in.

But that was not the worst. I parked at a parallel lot, and the left side was by the curb. So after being hit, my car was pushes to the curb and my wheels were bent at a 1 o clock position due to the curb.

I called the police and when the policeman came, a lady living opposite where by car was hit came out and passed me the other car information. And the hit and run occurred 1 week ago.

So guys, what are my chances of claiming full from the other driver? Now still waiting for the tow truck and then make police report after that.

Did the person who passed the info to you make a police report? Or else the guy could have just repaired the car already and deny everything since it happened 1 week ago. The police won't be able to do anything also. Unless happen to have video evidence.

Not yet. We were told to make a police report. An IO has already been assigned to me.

Bro, sad to hear this happened.
Hope we can help, yet not to pour cold water over you that such cases usually will 'case closed' after your report done.

Given it a week ago, and having whichever car that bang you may too had repaired.
Even if 'caught' the driver, he can deny and it goes on and on til you may just give up as if you wana report to insurance company.
Do you think they will be so helpful to wait??

My opionion is I doubt so, rather believing that your NCB maybe put on hold til this case closed.
I maybe wrong but it the worst which you do not wish to face or even go through.

In short, knowing it heart-breaking to suggest this, but repair and move on.

But again, if you have hard evidence with a firm witness together with the plate number, fight for it.

last time my new car when park parallel lot on single lane also kana side dent, cant imagine how it happening, can only say the ill mentality of people who get jealous they cant have it so they must spoil it, thats why some people had tragic endings

The witness gave me the car plate and model. I used one motoring and found it to be a Toyota Wish.

And she just messaged me that she has made a police report too. Now just hope things will go smoothly.
