OMFG! Some dick from the mirror wrote that Borini's goal celebration during sunday game was a tribute to Suarez.

Wow.....

I bet the FA is on high alert now. Concocting a reason n the duration of his ban.

Just how low people will get?

Rodgers that! Manchester City want Liverpool boss to replace Roberto Mancini

The Blues power-brokers believe the 40-year-old Irishman fulfils all the criteria they deem essential – like a willingness to blood young players early, media skills, and European experience – and the ace in his pack is that he is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Seriously? City has the money to hire the best managers. Not to slate BR but he doesn't have much European experience if the owners want to win the CL.

A very important criteria is not mentioned and that is being able to manage the egos of City's rich and spoilt players.

actually henderson 2nd goal quite cock. not an intended direct freekick goal. awful freekick den suddenly nobody is there to prevent it :s13:

Exactly.

That kind of free kick also can concede, it just shows how bad Newcastle's defending was on Saturday.

It's e last of e 6 goals, hence I feel that they also switch off le. Lets not take away How some of our play lead to the goals

Hmm I am still waiting for someone to come out and speak negative of us. Where's mr c?

Looking for me? Be careful what you wish for. :D
Anyway, I am so touch that I am being missed.. Thank you, thank you.. =:p

I was a great win and for the fans to be happy with but if you are looking for any real negativity, well here's my take on it.. If we are honest enough, Newcastle were in shambles even from the start. After the first 10 mins I was confident enough to post and predict we could win this by 4 goals, that's how poor they were.

I did a quick look at their players in defence at the start of the match, showed their defence apart from Steven Taylor who had played 22 pl games this season, the rest combined had less than 2/3 of our worst defender that day Johnson. Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa 7, Massadio Haidara 1, Mathieu Debuchy 11.. all not just new at Newcastle but to the country and the league too. Even their keeper Elliot has only 7 PL games in his career. So it could be a sign that they were very weak in that department.

I mentioned earlier in the game that the missing of Coloccini, Santon, Williamson, Ryan Taylor and even James Perch (in defence), could be the problem. And a smart alec assumed just b'cos Coloccini & Santon were not on came rushing in to correct me to say Perch was on the pitch.. lol. I couldn't help laughing at his post as he couldn't understand I was referring only to the defence department and it gave the saying fools rush in where angels fear to tread a befitting meaning.

Look, we won and should be happy but it was also mainly b'cos of the strength of our opponent that made it possible. Belief me, this weekend could be a totally different ball game. We will come up against a more organised opponent. Only plus point is we are at home, so that counts for something.

Lastly, I guess the stats that said we won more games in percentage without suarez just got a little better too.. cheer to that.. :D

The real test would be next week, against Everton.

That could also be a tide changer for the 6th and 7th positions.. for if we win, we stand 2 points behind Everton.
