Now we have Star Cruise Virgo, Royal Caribbean, Costa Atlantica..

I've been on the Virgo last year and we felt that it's really nice, especially the food which we have a good choice of oriental or western.

I'd like to ask which one do you think is best in terms of entertainment, food and accommodation?

I'm planning a family trip early 2014. :)

We have taken both star cruise and royal Carribbean b4.

Love the food at star cruises as they have Chinese food.

For entertainment, think both are ok

Hi,

I would highly recommend Royal Caribbean for their service and food. Their service is way better than other cruise liners. You could take mariner of the seas which includes a ice skating rink. Hope it helps :)

Thanks...

I heard from a friend that Royal Caribbean only has western cuisine, is it true? Do they have oriental cuisine included in the bundled meals?

thinking of bringing my elderly parents on a cruise holiday
is RC suitable for elderly?
and wheelchair accessibility also very important...

food wise they prefer chinese food
and entertainment the usual i.e. casino and shows :D

Wheelchair accessibility is not a problem, they have lifts in RC. Remember to ask for wheelchair friendly room before u book.

Costa is cheap... but because they're budget cruiseliner for Asia.

Nearly tempted by a weeklong cruise for 400-500~(cant rmb exact amt) to Msia..luckily didnt get it coz reviews were bad. Most complaints include u get wad u pay for, lazy italian services etc etc.

And dont forget Costa Concordia :s22:

Would love to hear more reviews from the different cruises from people who been on those ships. Thinking of planning a cruise soon.

Costa Cruise isn't cheap, they were having a promotion because they were new and the ship looks damn good.

For Royal Carribean, I read something about compulsory gratuities. How much do I have to set aside for this?
