My initial next phone is suppose to be note 3. But after seeing sony show out this phone. I feel like buying this liao. My only concern is that I am not sure if I can get use to a smaller screen anot. I am note 2 user.

Like I said before, Sony is still weak in software, mainly camera app. Will have to see camera review in detail from Z1 to believe it.
Sony software always half bake this I have to agree.

I said mainly Camera app is weak, a china based Lenovo camera app can reach the same sharpness as Sony but with less noise, to me, this makes Sony Camera app weak. Having said that, I will still stick with Xperia no matter what, my Xperia Z can easily last me until my phone contract end, definitely wont be constant complaining like my last crap phone LG.

It is all talk and no pictures.

How's the batt life compare this versus note 3

Z1 should have better battery life with smaller screen, note 3 only have extra 200 mah.

Nice.. Looking forward to October

Yes!! :D

If you are talking about this, yeah I kind of agree. I think they did too much compression to their photographs. I used smartphone camera mostly for instagram and facebook so it is still manageable for me. Hopefully the lens camera will produce superb photo quality.

Not only compression but also the balance between the sharpness and noise, either its good sharpness but end up too much noise or no noise but not sharp.
