i got two note 2 and 1 ZU. so what should i do??? thanks Bro...
* switch off auto brightness, adpat light, optimise backlight thingy on both
* set both unit to 100%
* Both "sleep" set to 10mins (allow yourself to use other device and focus to take pic)

have a ZU and Note 2 place side by side
have them go to play store
Take a pic with your other Note 2

Or even better with a proper camera and make sure the white balance doesn't fail.

Lastly I not coming fighting or anything.....

Ok.

At least your screen proves a point. The yellow screen is a hardware issue and not a software issue

I read from some online source that there will be a new firmware which will tune the display and contrast of the phone to be more white.

Also was told by someone that Sony will be releasing the software soon. :s12:

From how many different vendors does source Sony their screen for the Z Ultra? If some people have a perfectly white screen and others have a yellow one I would guess Sony has more than one supplier.

I believe so as well, to prevent one supplier from jacking up pricing or to have a shortage if disaster.

Anyway who experiencing Yellowish screen? Shout me!

Is the display device ID exposed in Android? Can you post it here to check if there are different device IDs for the display out there?

Guys, those with yellow screen problem can you all try going into about phone>diagnostic>test device>display and click test, mine was white during the test and got the yellow tinge back when the test was over. So now it's hard to say whether it's hardware or software problem..

Those are for C6802 which is the 3G variant, ours is C6833 which is the 4G variant. I think the said tuning of display should be on this software as well. Can't wait for it.
