Where is selling 213+ at 399??
The 213+ is more for business users and it is now at $399 under promotion (cheaper than CEE 2013 show) $130 more than the 213J ($269), so for users who have a bigger wallet, the 213+ is a very good buy because its specs is almost the same as the 214. In fact the 213+ also has a SD card reader and eSATA port, making it more versatile than the 214. IMO.

ya ready to junk my thecus n3200pro and the nonexistent tech support

if i can recover the data in 8% more

Warning click Spoiler only if you want to hear me ranting

I thought the data was copied to my 2.5 in 2tb hdd when i plugged it in the usb ports and i could even see it in putty ssh

it was supposed to be in \\n3200pro\raid0\usbhdd\usb-4\5\my data

the moment i plug the ntfs hdd into my win 7 computer the data was not there

i went into the web system to delete the files under the webstore module and it deleted my module folder for me

how does stuff i delete in the usbhdd portion of the disk affect the entire raid0\modulesfolder

totally different folders.

now the stupid nas is trying to recover the raid5 but still give me the prompt that you don't have any raid system

then what is it trying to recover. I can't even delete the raid now cause i lost ssh access into the nas and the gui has it greyed out for me

Problem is if i use 213+ i will end up with 2 TB extra hdd from seagate and samsung.

I wonder how much i can sell those to finance the purchase of a 213+?

seagate is rma come back and unused. samsung hd204ui would be around 8k poweron hours.

Hooted a DS414 over the weekend at CEE. Was a bit apprehensive of the price but when I saw 110MB/s transfer over my network it was immediately all worth it :s13:

Going to configure it for dual-LAN LACP with my Cisco switch and see how much speed I can push.

Please don't spend unnecessary money on LACP, unless you are having a multi users environment, you will not be getting a single session across multiple channels using LACP

Help! esata hard drive enclosure no longer recognised after power failure

I have a DS 411 II+ , with a 4 drive RAID 5 enclosure connected in esata which has been working great.

a few days ago, there was a power failure and the NAS no longer recognises the ext enclosure. It says the file system(ext 4) is not supported. I reconnected it to a PC and the hardware and drives seems to be fine with UFS explorer Recovery scan.

I am on the latest DSM 4.3 firmware.

any help appreciated.
Much thanks
