Thank you VQ CS and TS team! Now my broadband is working.

But it doesn't feel like it's a 300Mbps plan! :( Although it's much smoother than red pipe.

It's OK. I found another tool. And there's a lot of wireless networks around my area. There's over 70 wireless networks, LOL. It will be hard to optimize it.

Meanwhile, I plug in a cable and this is my results.

The number of networks around my area...

I don't think I can optimize it further. I have made several changes to the router already. The only way for me to get the advertised speeds is to pull cable. But not viable...

I'm supposed you are on channel 7..

Most priority - Choose non-overlapping channels - 1 ,6 or 11.
follow by channel with least SSIDs,
then choose channel with least competing signal strength
and lastly enable channel bonding -40Mhz.

Wah the number of networks in your area is total GG lah…

Mine is pretty decent, though the walls probably have something to do with it too:

In complete overcrowding, the non-overlapping channels guideline doesn't work :s22:

Non-overlapping channels are only useful if you’re in a totally clean environment where you have the privilege of planning exactly which APs lie on which channel.

Also, channel bonding probably makes things worse (for your neighbors, at least) — and 802.11n-2009 certified devices are supposed to revert back to 20MHz mode if it detects an overlap (which in this case definitely exists).

Forcing 40MHz mode can be done on some clients/APs but it's really bad for overall performance because if everyone starts turning it on, it’s back to square one :)

Best is still to get a decent 5GHz AP or two and locate it centrally in your home.
