as a CIS customer with ST i'm disappointed with them that they don't allow CIS customers to pre-order online, as a result I couldn't get the phone when released, and have to wait for them to restock for walk-in customers. furthermore, no free gift bundled.

U should opt for self collection. I was in the same situation as u but I got my phone on Friday morning.

i encounter some issues with the Z2 alarm clock, set the alarm volume max, pre-play the alarm tone quite loud BUT the actual alarm was damn soft vs my S3.

Anyone encounter this also?

I think all along CIS cannot recontract online.
I am on CIS. I chose self collect. Went down friday night. No problem. Actually can choose saturday too.

already set to MAX. preview sound of the alarm was loud BUT actual alarm was damn soft. you try set a time and let the alarm ring, you will know what i mean

Contented with the battery life.
Used for 1 hour of browsing the net etc, drop 8% so far from 100%.
Last time use 1hr drop 30%.


Probably because I was on xperia s for a good 2 years.

I feel you. Xperia Z you whatsapp abit 100-99/98% now you browse the web also not so fast drop.

overheating issue

Hi,

i'm a new user of sony Z2....everything was good when i used it the first day yesterday...but today...after charging over magnetic dock throughout the nite from 0%....when i turn on the phone, it heats up instantly...even though i'm only using whatsapp..

my battery at 7.30am today was 100%...now i'm left with 78%....after minimal usage...using whatsapp most of the time....the weird thing is...the battery cooled down after my usage when screen blacks out....battery % nvr moved....but when i start to use it...the % drops bit by bit..

I've already did a firmware upgrade on Sunday....but I nvr did factory reset though...so most of the bloatware are still there....from M1...is this supposed to be a problem?

try doing a repair on PC Companion.
