Hi there. Depreciation for NPV is always an irrelevant cost and NEVER treated as a cash outflow. However, depreciation is tax deductible. We subtract depreciation from the profits to determine the taxable income which then gives us our taxation paid. Taxation paid IS a relevant cash outflow.

To put it simply, we calculate depreciation so that we can calculate the tax paid. Then subtract the tax paid from the pre-depreciation cash flow to get the final figure (assuming you have no further capital expenditure.

Any tips for CF? Really struggling right now. Isit ok it I skip
Capital structure? Like chapt 7 and 8. And fisher theorem?

CF core is about capital structure and all so don't think u can skip that. Fisher only a very small topic so skip that should be all right. Capital structure is linked to MM1 MM2 theories, CAPM, APT, dividend, debt & equity signalling all those. Can even be linked to M & A as well as after acquisition, the capital structure might change as well. Just my 2 cents worth.

Anyone from E&F second year here?
I'm not going to be able to pass for the CF paper this year
Can I take it next year with the rest of the year 3 modules and still graduate by 2015?

Altho I'm not from E&F, but similar query. Not sure if I can pass one of my core modules this year, so was wondering if I didn't make it, can I retake next year with other 4 new modules and graduate :/ Anyone knows?

Just wondering,

when you interview for jobs

Do you submit your transcript too? Or just the degree cert which shows the class honors is enough?

Does the interviewer request to see your transcript? By transcript I mean the paper with all grades of each modules you take.

Hi Everyone,

I am AnF uol student year 1 this year.
I have already accepted the contract online for sim and when I went down to sim to submit the hardcopy for the contract. The guy told me that I do not have to do so as I am Age 21 and a full time student.

Can I check whether there is a need to submit the hardcopy contract(They called it the PEI or smth)

And I also have not received mymail login and password until now...
