how ? I say cannot buy. Analysts say can buy. Who to believe

I think they may still be facing some headwinds about rising costs and inability to find the right location to open up new stores. Until such is resolved, i dont see any point in adding to ShengShiong at this moment.

If i hadn't bought dairy farm i wouldve bought SS :(.

Food inflation across the globe is going nuts, coffee, orange, beef, pork, chicken, etc.

El Nino is predicted to come to fruition this year, which will be even worse for agricommodities.

think of it this way...

on the upside, it means that management is prudent and careful..

but imo...it's only a matter of time SS find ways to expand...

if we wait till then to accumulate, u would be catching the high end of the price...

just my two cents.

Hi Keverus

Yep, I fully agree with you that the good thing coming out from this is the prudent management they have and not just increase shops for the sake of it.

I just feel at current price the risk reward is not quite out there. But definitely if we are waiting for them to announce the next buying then it would be too late. It's an investor sentiments to play at the right price :)
