I switch from Z ultra to z2. the touchscreen issue on z ultra doesnt seem to affect z2.

Any problem?On a side note, I have read about using electronics in sea water (or any water) as I have a underwater camera and the best way is:
1. Clean and ensure all "openings" and O-rings and such does not have even a small particle or oil as this might allows water to enter.
2. After using, rinse it with plain water to wash away the salt content.
3. Dry you gadget after rinsing.

The mic shd be same as when you talk on the home right?
What I do know from a earlier post is that when recording videos, the mic is very bad and needs to buy the STM 10 Sony Stereo Microphone STM10

With all due respect, I am sceptical about buying flashdrives online as there might be fake around. Seriously US$100 is cheap and I worry if it is too cheap to be true.
The best way is run a test on the mircosd card using h2testw.
For the IT show, Vector (authorised distributor) told me they were selling @$160.00 but cun give me the same price now. Cheapest is $20 off the retail price of $228!

I am thinking of getting a Z2. When to a service provider yesterday evening and tried the demo set they have over there.
scrolling around and accidentally hit on the 4K app, as i dont need it much, closed the app in less than 20sec. went into the camera app and played around with the settings, told 2 photos and suddenly the phone say it is too hot and proceed to close the camera app.
the back of the phone do feel hot.
Is that a common fault? I want to get the phone, but really dont want it to heat up so fast and force close apps.

No problem with my Z1 till now, I do rinse the phone with plain water after I am out from the beach.
Minor heat is definitely will be present. With waterproof features and huge battery wise with Great display plus large sensor camera all packed in one.
It depend on the games itself its it using more ram for running and the graphics they use to render.
4K is featureproof features. Why Sony added in so in future we can still make use Z2 to have such feature or maybe they will enhance the software tweak.
This 4K is not a 100percent features now. They are improving and providing us a stable usability. As time goes by new software will solve some of the issue.
Xperia Z provides a better recording and longer recording than any others

I did not do anything in the 4K app. opened it, realised wrong app and closed it.
I was playing around using the camera and it's settings and it force close saying that it is getting hot.
I was previously using a Note 1 and am currently using a Note 3, yes, a bit of heat from games i agree, but from camera app... I am not sure.
Do want to get the Z2, but my concern is: does using the camera causes the Z2 to overheat and force close the app?
Anyone faced the same issue?

For myself, I tried the 4k a couple of times (1-2 mins) and no issues. I have also been taking photos (mostly in superior auto and AR effect, which is real fun) and does not have issues also...
For gaming, I do feel a bit of heat when intense gaming (continuous 1-2 hours) but compare to Galaxy S4, it is miles better. I tried the same game app with same version to do a comparison...
For those who says their ringing volume and alarm volume is too soft, did u guys turn your x-loud on yet? If you guys didn't turn on the x-loud the volume is really quite soft but after turning the x-loud on the volume is like 3 times louder and now my ringing volume and alarm volume is very loud. The only drawback with this phone for me is the call volume, it is soft, if there's ambient noice if I'm in the bus or something it is hard to hear what the caller on the other side is saying, I hope they can fix this with a firmware upgrade.

Dunno abt note 3 but compare to S4 is softer... But music quality wise, way way WAY better than samseng...

Ya. That microphone is good for video recording.
I use the same sound recorder to test the Mic.found out that z2 appears to be more muffled sound

I understand, but this is shipped and sold by Amazon themselves so I got free shipping
Right now, it is going for US$120 and if you buy a little bit more (IIRC US$5) of other stuff, shipping is free. So for US$120=S$150, it is cheaper by a lot...
