I think this Samsung Evo campaign capped its daily point at 30? Like that difficult to hit 400pts.

20% Doesn't seem worth it, 40% should be good but have to know the price at Rewardslink first.
It might be cheaper to buy from amazon or reliable Sim Lim shops without any discount. You never know...

No leh.. I take on photo 6-10mb... very fast my 32GB filled up... But yea.. I use FLAC and ALAC...

ic... for now... I think having a Samsung 64GB MicroSDHC card is more than enuff for most ppl's activities..

For now. Will be better with a 128GB Samsung's PRO version.

SLC is not cost effective. Currently only use in enterprise grade or industrial ssd.

SLC (Single Layer Cell) is the highest performance BUT at a very high cost. Consider it to be enterprise grade flash chip.
Has ~ 90-100,000 program/erase cycles per cell (highest endurance)
- lowest density (1 bit per cell, lower is better for endurance)
- lowest power consumption
- faster write speeds
- much higher cost (3 times higher than MLC)


MLC (Multi Layer Cell) is the average performance, consumer grade ship
Only has ~ 10,000 program/erase cycles per cell
- higher density than SLC (2 bits per cell)
- lower endurance limit than SLC
- lower cost (3 times lower than SLC)
- good fit for consumer products. Not suggested for critical applications which require frequent updates of data

TLC (Three Layer Cell) is the lower performance and lowest cost of the lot
Usually ~ 3-5,000 program/erase cycles per cell (samsung made this even higher with EVO on their SSD, so i believe that tech is ported over now)
- highest density (3 bits per cell)
- lower endurance limit than MLC and SLC
- best price point (~30% lower than MLC)
- somewhat slower read and write speed than MLC
- good fit for lower-end consumer products. Not recommended for critical applications which require frequent updating of data

Generally, SLC drives are the fastest, most relieble and most expensive drives available, usually used in the enterprise because of their considerably higher cost. However, both MLC and TLC are widely used consumer grade memory, with MLC being better in terms of endurance.

Why the difference?
SLC Flash has only two states: erased (empty) or programmed (full).
MLC Flash has four states: erased (empty), 1/3, 2/3, and programmed (full).
TLC Flash has eight states: erased (empty), 1/7, 2/7, 3/7, 4/7, 5/7, 6/7 and programmed (full).

It’s easier to read the correct fill status when it is either empty or full, as in SLC NAND Flash. When the cell is partially full, as in MLC NAND Flash, the fill status is more difficult to read, taking more time and energy.

its true, quite a few friends encountered the same problem...so now those who use samsung devices tend to buy samsung evo or plus cards...very crafty of samsung

i have been using sandisk microsd for 2 yrs+ on samsung device so far no problem. *cont to pray hard*

it depends on the device that u r using, whether it support up to 128gb or not.

if Samsung do come out with 128GB.. indeed ish a leap forward liao.. imagine entire SSD data in one tiny card..

but it wont be as lasting as ssd. since there is a certain lifespan for as microsd cards in terms of write and rewrite if i am not wrong.
