To be sure. Not the old PRO. The new PRO have longer life cause its using MLC nand. MLC nand have longer life span than TLC nand.

Lol... i have 16 and 32 evo..... and a 32 which is class 6 brand new.... i dunno which memory card to open.... but pro series confirm out of the qns for me

The new Samsung EVO microSD line is designed for the more mainstream demographic of consumers, specifically for those looking for reliable performance with their high-end smart phones, tablets, and cameras. The EVO Series microSD cards come in three different capacities, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB each sporting a sleek white and orange design. These tiny flash cards are also water, shock, magnet, X-ray and temperature proof.

Just to share a review of the Samsung evo microsd.

As far as performance goes, the Samsung EVO microSDs are quoted to deliver 48MB/s reads (with no indication of write activity) supporting a UHS Speed Class 1 and Class 10 video recording ratings. When we put it through our tests, it measured just below those figures with a sequential read and write of 44.1MB/s and 19.1MB/s respectively, while random activity boasted 43.9MB/read and 32.0MB/s write. The large-block random write speed we recorded was particularly surprising, and easily the best we have seen for its class.

Use Class 10 higher capacity one. EVO 32GB? Unless you aiming for 64GB EVO?

Samsung MicroSDHC Pro Card,

EnvironmentOperating Voltage 2.7 - 3.6V
Storage Temperature -40°C - 85°C
Operating Temperature -25°C - 85°C
Durability 10,000 mating cycles

What is 10,000 mating cycles???? Does it mean it can format 10,000 times?

Wow the random read and write speed is very good. I think all of my microSDHC cards also cannot match the speed.

64GB Micro SDXC Class 10 PRO Memory Card have better speed than 64GB Micro SDXC Class 10 EVO Memory Card but both of them are waterproof, withstand impact, X-ray proof and temperature proof.

Depends highly on luck, if its authentic. So far I have not met any memory card that DOA. Samsung one also working fine.

For me so far I never met any brand memory card that DOA also. I think that is very very rare. I also dont think Samsung Micro SDXC Class 10 PRO Memory Card quality check may be that bad also.

If price not much different like that people sure get Samsung Micro SDXC Class 10 PRO Memory Card instead of the EVO.
