Hi, I just bought draco hdt2-7300 from Harvey Norman.
But I just can't get any channel at all no matter what I try. The antenna LED has power and "power on" option for the antenna is switched on.

I have tried living room's TV and Bedroom's Tv location with the antenna literally placed on the outside of the windows but still nothing.

I have another new TV that has built in DVBT-2 with antenna placed in the kitchen with lots of obstruction but has no issues recieving HD channels at all.
I have also swapped Antennas to test but still did not work.

Anyone can advice?

I have the exact same problem. I'm using the same set top box too. Sigh... Just called mediacorp and they told me there shouldn't be any problem for my area to receive digital signal.

Guys, does that means I have to invest more to get a better antenna? Any recommendations?

Check: The antenna must be plugged into the settop box. Not to the TV.

Yup its connected to the setup box.
I managed to get channel 5 up once but extremely unstable.
signal intensity was %99 but signal quality around 60% but after awhile totally no signal again.

Tips to those using Draco set-up box with the given Draco antenna which I accidentally discovered while troubleshooting the same issue encountered by people here. Not sure had anyone mentioned this before.

DO NOT turn up the Draco antenna power to the maximum. Once you turn the dial up and passed a certain point, it will cause antenna to lose signal.

What I discovered is that about 1/4 is the maximum you can turn the dial from off position, any more will cause the antenna to fail in getting the signal. You should slowly try to turn up the dial from the off position via trial and error method and stop once you receive the best signal strength.

What I suspect is that the antenna will try to draw more power from the set-up box when you turn the dial up and the set-up box is unable to accommodate the power needed by the antenna when you turn the dial up to the maximum thus causing the antenna to lose signal. That's what the additional 5V power port is for.

Don't quote me on this though. I'm not electrical-trained. It's merely my deduction from my troubleshooting experience. Either way adjusting the dial down from the max position resolved the problem for me. I'm using the Draco antenna just fine for more than a week liao. Just sharing, might not resolve your issue but no harm trying.

P.S - I did a factory reset to return back to the initial setup screen before trying the above mentioned solution. Remember to set antenna power to 'on' on the initial setup screen. Password to factory reset is '1234'.

P.S 2 - Just remembered... Don't hold onto the antenna while adjusting the dial. I know it sounds weird but it causes the Draco antenna to lose signal too. LOL. Tried testing it several times holding onto the antenna and not. Sure enough, the antenna loses signal once I touched/hold onto it. Maybe it has to do with earthing or something but whatever. Anyway if you really have to touch the antenna, touch/hold onto the clip-on plastic stand (or base whatever you want to call it) while adjusting the dial.

BTW, did you do a factory reset (clean state) on the set-up box, set the antenna power to 'ON', set the signal strength test channel to UHF29 - 538MHz (or UHF31 - 554MHz) on the initial setup screen and place it on a spot that you would want your antenna to be placed before slowly turning up the dial on the Draco antenna?

You should try it if you haven't. The password to factory reset is '1234' btw.

You may want to try the Margon 2.0 Home indoor antenna, which is around ~$40.
Await for your result, living at Yishun too! :)

Thanks for sharing, unfortunately I just tried and it doesn't work. I turned the knob bit by bit to test.

I emailed the company about my situation and see whats their reply first.

Your area have to use an active digital TV antenna with power on active antenna function then can receive stable signal quality for all channels if refer to our customers who stay in your area.

Our active indoor antenna 30dBi price is $30 for consideration.
