Was doing a quick comparison between combo 2 and combo 3 plans for iPhone 6 64gb.

Seems like the difference is rather small over one year period.

If combo 2 plus SGD10.70 for extra 1gb, that actually makes combo 3 plans cheaper over a one year period.

:s22:
with cis plan, there's difference

Looking to re-contract:
combo 2 for 64gb 6 648
combo 3 for 64gb 6+ 616
total 1264

Realised that the reversed phone to contract:
combo 2 for 64gb 6+ 788
combo 3 for 64gb 6 448
total 1236

Is actually cheaper.
Singtel short changing combo 3 people who are going for 6+...

Sadly no. You can try but no harm.

A better way will be, sign first recontract go to helloshop with ur mum anytime and do transfer :) show CIS card get CIS benefits. Done

How do I transfer ownership of my mobile line?
Both Transferor (the existing subscriber) and Transferee must be present during the transfer. Customers can walk in to any of our Customer Service Counters.

The Transferee must be at least 18 years of age on the date of transfer. Customers between 18 and 21 years of age will be provided with services for local usage only.

The Transferee will be charged a one-time transfer fee of $20 (before GST).

Okay, thanks so. I can recontract first under my mum name. Then, the following week end down with my sis and mum together transfer name and convert to CIS?

Is this correct? I tot convert to CIS can only be done after contract up?

This is what i'm going to do:

Sign contract now, flip and buy back from Apple Store when the demand is lower.

It translates to $500 lower in the 'Total Cost Over Two Years' for me. Provided if sgmobile doesn't change their buyback price + i'm able to get my set before 4.30 on Friday + able to select a timeslot before 4.30

As long as china haven't release, there is always a demand

But don't be greedy. Last year from what I rmb, 3rd day shops stop taking in white and blacks.

I learnt my lesson already, go for gold; won't go wrong.

You missed out those oil rich middle eastern countries as well.

Last time got Brunei, but Brunei economy isn't doing good; demand should drop also.

For all the combo, the price for each increment in capacity, they push the matrix down.
Only combo 3 they charge more, in fact the plan already more expensive than orange and green.
And now more expensive for combo 3 -.-zzz

That why I am planning to do a downgrade.

FYI, even it likes less than 1~3 days for my contract to reach 24 months, S*ngtel will still impose $37.50 penalty for downgrading.

Hannor I'm under combo 3 plan and don't rem paying 300+ for a basic iphone last yr.

Top up iphone 6 to plus:

Combo 2: 648-788=140

Combo 3: 448-616=168

Combo 3 must pay 28 more :(

Maybe that's why shawnboi didn't continue with stinktel after so many years? Care to share why... Wanna jump ship too :(

I would really appreciate if someone enlighten me on my following heart burning issues..

1. The actual Singtel iPhone 6 event will be over a period of 3 days? So does that mean if I managed to be the lucky few to book an appointment tomorrow, I'll be able to book a slot on Saturday or maybe even Sunday instead of Friday the 19th itself?

2. Will I able to get the phone unsealed during the Singtel iPhone 6 launch event? Because from what I know, Singtel SOP is to unseal the box for us to check for damages. So is it possible for me to get it unsealed or how should I go about doing it?

Thanks in advance! :)

I still have lines with Singtel, just that Starhub gave me much more. Discounts, vouchers, point redemption.

Another factor to see is to read their yearly annual report to know what they are going to do for the following year and so forth. Starhub has been focusing really a lot and customer service is really picking up for them. So I think I can safely go over :)

Cost wise: I have 30% discount there. So that's a good thing

They want to impose this even when i called in and ask how much will it be if i port over to M1 just 2 days earlier?
37.50 as well. Rediculous.
