Thanks. :)

Played with it for half day now, worth every cent of money spent on it. I think it can match the more expensive IM70 in terms of sound quality. But it was never meant to compete with the IM70 or even the more expensive IM02, 03, 04 series coz it has a unique sound signature that appeals to people like me who want a lot of bass but not overwhelming bass.

Compared to IM70, IM50's soundstage is wider but shallower coz the vocals appear nearer behind me than IM70. Instruments like guitars and piano thrown quite far away on my extreme left and right.
The IM70's bass is too hard hitting for the songs I listen to, the boom damn powerful... :s13:

But quite tame on some songs... :s22:

EQ? IM70 and above may need a bit of fine-tuning, though my IM50 was quite good out-of-the-box. Tried to burn-in, but not much effect. IM50 is an all-rounder, IM70 and above (IM02/3/4) more for only certain genres, other genres need to EQ.

Wa, got house ah? How many room? How much? Property prices are dropping though, why did you not buy a house later?

3 room nia lah. Resale amk. 5mins walk away from MRT. $340k.

Dropping is more on the 4-5rooms and private property. Resale took a small fall of 0.1% for smaller rooms as reported just on radio. From July to Aug.

Prices drop more on bigger flats due to a lot of people being rejected due to strict loan issues.

And partly our rental unit lease gonna expire soon. So better start moving before signing another 1 year lease which is very chor.
