Hope the Twin Frozr 5 cools the VRM chips, cos I know the Vapor-X cooler for AMD 7xxx series didn't cool the VRM at all.

have used quite a number of TF cards or i rather say i have used 1 of each generation. The VRM temp of the cards are definitely cooler compared to other cards with custom coolers.

That's good to know. Might give MSI a try for my own rig. Always recommend MSI for people cos it's cheap, but never used it myself cos I don't like how it looks.

hahaha, MSI isnt cheap compared to brands like Powercolor in amd cards :s13:
u definitely get wad u paid for. I must really say MSI has really come far with regards to their TF cooler design. They really put in alot of effort in trying to cater each of their TF versions according to what gamers need. And of course some features to protect their own card too :s13::s13:
But trust me, i have used 1 of each generation of their cards and they changed alot. if not their cards wont even be so popular now

MSI TF V GTX980 Gaming OC:

Results:
- In a hot Singapore afternoon in a non-aircon room, max temp under consistent Full GPU Load = 73 degree Celsius
- Fan: Most of time not spinning when temperature under 61 degrees. Max Spin only at 67%.
- Performance: Once the GPU load falls, the rapid cooling effect kicks in.

You will be surprise when you are in aircon room temp for the 980.

Your full load may be only a single fan running lol.

This time round Msi really nailed it damn well on their cooler!
