Noted. I should bypass those Dual-port NAS then.. thanks Andrew!

Not familiar with Synology NAS. With dual-NIC QNAP NAS + Cisco switch configured for LACP, I do see benefits of such setup where traffic from different session/source ends up utilising different connection to the dual-NIC NAS.

This allows background replication over WAN/Internet running on frequent basis without noticeable interruption to local LAN usage (eg. iTunes playback on Macs, AirPlay of video contents to TV, file copying). Oh, not to mention the p2p (rTorrent QKPG available for QNAP NAS) also in the background.

Hi guys, what is Viewquest best pricing currently?

Seems the one on their website is priced rather uncompetitively
Price plans | ViewQwest Pte Ltd

The website pricing is always the most up to date :) We tend not to do crazy promotions and offer special discounts, free laptops etc...

Our main focus has always been on providing the best broadband experience possible. That means not just giving our customers the best fiber connection possible, but also being able to offer better support and little personal extras like workshops or free home consultation services.

The reality is that these things cost money! We don't have the deep pockets of the Big 3 so we can't slash prices to ridiculous extents and throw a whole bunch of freebies to grab market share. Looking back at Singapore's broadband history, that sort of strategy only seems to end up hurting your customers in the long run :(

So yes, our pricing is a little higher than others but as the old saying goes - you get what you pay for ;)

Maybe I can list out all my questions better:

So here are my questions:

- which Synology model is suitable for my requirements? Purely seeding. If I can run any video streaming to my mobile devices that would be a bonus. I have 4x2TB HDDs

- which torrent client should I use that is less CLI and more GUI? Any guides to setup? I specifically want it to work for IPT

- I'm read about the DS415+. Would it work with rtorrent+wtorrent or Transmission 2.03?

- Lastly, would my Asus RT-68U work with the Link Aggregation features on stock firmware?

Anyone? :(

Any Synology works for seeding as ultimately they are running on DSM.

However your requirement for IPT which is private tracker site requires customization... And for turtorials on that its mostly really CLI... If you want GUI, sorry, gotta DIY :S

So yea.
