I use those kinda hooded litter boxes with an entrance...and recently my younger cat keeps peeing really close to the entrance. And when she pees, she will slightly lift her butt up and the pee will spray right out of the box! Wah her aiming damn bad leh hahaha. Is there any way to encourage her to move abit inside when peeing?

I am afraid that if I disturb her when she is peeing, it will only discourage her from using the litter box!she used to pee on my bed quite often when she was younger..no more now (touch wood). My litterbox should be big enough leh..coz the older cat is a lot bigger than her but no problem with it. Then I tried to attach the swing door that comes with the box, but they dont know how to use. Go in cannot come out hahaha

LOL yeah I tried once and she just sat inside the box looking out thinking that it's enclosed. Like waiting for me to open the door to let her out.

the cover shell for the litter box can detach?

maybe detach the top shell, then demo to your ah meow the underside of the shell and how the swing door can swing in both directions by flicking the door

then fix back to their sai box in their presence. then maybe they will OH CAN LIKE THAT.... :s13:

no use one hahaa i demo 3 times, still purposely put him inside, open from outside to show him door can open the other way also. his only reaction is run out as fast as he can and hide from the litter box and refuse to go inside even though i try to push him in, then he turn around n beat me :s13:

his conclusion:
swing door = monster that traps me in a stink peepee box

A couple of years ago, I found a queen and her kittens wandering around in the parking lot. Some fancy breed, cannot remember name of it now. It turns out that they were stolen from a guy down near Hougang or Geylang and were then dumped in Yishun!

It took a couple of days before I found the real owner and he came and picked them up. The queen was very unfriendly towards me and I could not wait to get rid of the whole bunch. She perked up and ran to the owner but at that point I did not care if he was or was not. hehehe

haha luckily the owner came back for her, if not u would be stuck with her till someone is willing to adopt and she will probably be unfriendly to all potential adopters :s22:

You have 1 older cat and a younger ones? 2 cats? then how many litterbox do you have? you should have at least 2 or even 3. Maybe there is already a poo/pee in the box from your older cat and younger cat don't want to step on it, so don't want to go further in.

My cat is like that, once in a while he poop twice and I didn't realise. He doesn't want to step on his own poo, so he will step in at another corner and do his business, raise his butt and then the poo drop out of the box. Lucky this thing doesn't happen all the time, he usually just poop once a day, it will happen only if he poop twice and when I use another shallower box while the current pee wee box is being washed/dried. He like so scared of his own poo, really squeeze himself at one corner.
