watching the england match, realised rubba face like to pick his team based on 'names'. henderson/sterling/lallana so off form but somehow made it to first xi.
really no other better on form players? :s22:

edit: and hendo open the scoring for slovenia. :s22: :s22:

wah xavi said this

Xavi, 34, was linked with a move away from Barca this summer but decided to stay at Camp Nou, and while he admits England is tempting, he is glad to have stayed with his club since joining the Masia academy at 11 years old.

"The Premier League is a very attractive," he continued. "Liverpool, for example, is a team that has something special -- the stadium, the fans, everything. But I always prioritise Barcelona -- it's my life, it's my world. I am lucky and wouldn't change it for anything.

old but still so much to offer.

Well... the tempo is different. For his age. It's better to stay with barca

doubt br will be sacked unless poor form cont til January. esp if we didnt make knockout stages of ucl..

even highly doubt cfc will sell us schurrle unless we offer carrot price like mata to manutd.. i do like schurrle though.. with sturridge around we got 2 forwards that can play flank and also cut middle and be no.9

You mean Hendo OG???

yeah, for england. overall a bad game for him.

lallana got better in the 2nd half but still a very average performance. sterling got an assist though, neat 1-2 with welbeck.

Woy, like many manager, tend to go only for players playing with top club. Lambert hardly had that many minutes for us and still kena called up. :s22: Pity that Balo is injured cause I wanna see him back playing for his country.

Hendo scored a beautiful "goal" but why can't he do that at the opposition box for us? :s13:

If all tabloids are discussing about sacking br, then it's a possibility but if it's only 1 tabloid discussing + troll posting, probably it's just trolling lol

A few quotes from Martin Ødegaard:

[When asked which team he'd be supporting when Liverpool played Real Madrid]
- Liverpool

[When asked about a quote he'd made about not wanting to play academy football]
- I won't be leaving to play anything but senior football, that's for sure.

[When asked about a contract clause allowing him to train as much as he wants (outside of the regular training schedule)]
- Yes, it's true. Its because I think it important to train a lot, and I don't want any limitations. Some people are against too much training, and thinks that the matches are all that counts. I feel it is important for me to train more, and so I wanted to have that as part of my contract.

[When asked about sacrificing other aspects of his teenage years, being committed to his footballing career]

This kid got it right what he said about training. Many players tend to train within the training schedule and think that's enough. What I don't like is that he want Snr football and he's only 15 years old. Norwegian league is nowhere even near SPL. If he's good enough for the 1st team than that won't be a problem.

The fans are calling for his sack

as a liverpool fan myself, i have to say that there is small group of "extremist" fans who feel that the club "has the right" to compete in top echelon of european competitions year in year out.

be realistic! it is not the 70s, 80s....2005 istanbul is just a distant memory already and we have been rebuilding time and again under different managers since then, pouring millions down the drain on overrated / underperforming players.

while BR is still a relative new manager rebuilding the squad, we can only give him time.......sack him and see which manager will join?

another manager join....another rebuilding process of offloading players will start again.......and the cycle goes on......tell me how you want the club to do well ???

big, if not the biggest in terms of number of supporters and level of loyalty etc. but to be honest, we have not been performing well / consistently for many seasons already.......

club not doing well hurts me juz like any fan....but if we keep changing managers or hang on to unrealistic hopes of russian / middle east oil money to pour in one day......then we are only day dreaming if we want club to do well

i think we need to give BR a bit more time b4 we decide sack or keep....at least he didnt perform poor like moyes during his manure days......we just got to keep trying !

LVG points tally is worst than moyes after 11 games and we are worst than LVG's after 11 games. that is how bad we are this season. honestly, the way we have been playing is worst than moye's time at man utd. agree we should not chop and change. but come season end and if we finish out of top 4 and continue to play uninspiring football, I believe the owner will look for alternatives.
