Well not re-release of the exact same thing, but a redesign. One exception of the former I can think of is the upcoming Technics racing truck.

Lego won't do re-releases, based on Jamie Bernard's post awhile ago on Brickset.

meaning to say, AFOLS no action talk only, just want to ask for re-release, but when the set is out, then complain this complain that. The last time they re-released something, I think it was selected best-sellers from the 1990s like metroliner, the old city airport, and of course the legendary black seas barracuda.

These days, the only sets that get a re-release are the star wars sets, since lego already has the license, and there's only so many ships in the movie, so gotta change the minifigures abit, or add more pew pew pew, what spring loaded shooters and what have you..

What about these two? looks familiar? Nothing is 100% confirmed, only time will tell ..

Technic caters for a different target group, I'll be happy to be proven wrong and Lego can re-release the modulars for the benefit of those who missed the boat on the earlier sets. Just that they continously have so much in the pipeline they don't even have to bother with re-releasing old sets.

Another problem Lego will create for itself, which it doesn't need, is that people will not buy so much lego like they do currently if they know it will be reissued at a later time. This diminishes its value

The news is true. The difference is the new rims for the wheels. I shall camp to buy this set at Metro 20% off.

I hope this set have the same parts to do three more MOCs like these.

They have stashed 100x sets of SSD is it??

i have met like 5~8 lego adults lovers.
almost all of them have like 2~4 streets.

and some have a few collection of star wars...e.g all the X Wings ever launched .. all a few sets -_-"

no need to be 100sets... these few I met already have like 10~20 streets.

but I have no proof lah.... maybe they big cannon fairy

Those who have not gotten a set always wish to release. This is not really the set is no longer available, but don't want to pay the premium. However, if those people already have one or more sets, I don't think they will ever want to have a re-release. A lot of people said "LEGO is just a toy", but fact is "Lego is not just a toy" but also collectible items.

Honestly, no one know what is going on, it may be just like the re-release of 7641 City Corner to 60031 in 2013. The re-release of 60031 only at very specific area and limited quantity too! Of course Lego can re-release any old sets, however, why do they want to do that? By re-releasing old sets, it will definitely impact the value of the old sets. If that is the case, people will be more skeptical of buying "extra" sets for "investment" and this is going to hurt Lego's business.

Just came back from LLM. Did not bother to hunt for any CMFs. Probably the pigs and spooky gals already gone. :s13:

Saw the SW exhibits for the first time. Not as big as I thought. Thought they would have put the old outdoor Deathstar inside the new building lol.

By the way, go in Malaysia side customs was a 1 hour jam cos they merged 4 lanes into 2 before reaching the customs booth.

On the way back, Singapore customs now will ask the drivers to show passport and record down vehicle number and driver passport numbers and name when you are going through the nothing to declare green lane.
they remove it as its not
