It really depends.
My holding period depends on profitability.

if tomorrow not profitable anymore, i sell.
if it is profitable for 10 donkey years, i will hold 10 donkey years.

"The Board is pleased to announce that the Company has executed a conditional joint venture agreement with each of the LuChen Group and the Company’s Executive Director, Mr. Tan Ling San, (collectively, the “Parties”) dated 27 December 2014 (“Conditional JVA”) in relation to the Proposed Joint Venture."

Mr. Tan probably forced Ah Seng into agreement of this JVC; Ah Seng probably does not want Mr. Tan to win whole venture.

Will raise to add Target = 100 lots by end Jan 2015.

100 lots is about 60k+, that's a big bet

I think Sheng Siong is worth the salt. Technically 60K+ is no big deal when comparing catching oil-related counters.

FYI. I have added 10 lots in USO and BNO respectively.

USO chart looks like a bear flag forming. Perhaps one more leg down for capitulation.

Anyway, SS hit 70c! :)

sheng siong this type usually people buy and hold for long term one, the dividend yield should be over 4%~ just sit back and relax, slowly collect dividends

Wouldn't classify SS under growth category though.

I would imagine that SS business is focus more on Singapore. Anything else is a bonus. Could imagine that it is saturated right now.

And it is pretty defensive considering it's business nature.

I am pretty surprise it managed to go up so fast this time round. Wonder what is the trigger. Dividend wise, should be around the same next year I guess.
