Funny, the MSI GTX 980 is listed as $899 when I do a search for it but when I add it to cart, it reverts to $949. Hmm.

Guys, screw the UOB discount. 18M1ANNIV provides 18% discount, no minimum spending required.

Lazada’s Birthday Sale Step-by-Step Guide

Lazada’s Birthday Sale is now ongoing from 7th to 9th April.

There will be hot deals and hourly flash sales among others. We will provide you with a step-by-step guide to help you find the best prices after the break!

To get the best prices, simply follow the applicable steps below.

Step 1: Check your Email

Some lucky members of Lazada may receive a voucher code providing you with S$25 off with minimum S$100 off. Thus, check your e-mail first.

If you plan to spend S$139 or below, this voucher code will provide you with maximum savings. If you have received this voucher code in hand, proceed directly to Step 3.

OTHERWISE, if you don’t have this code, prefer your savings upfront and not in terms of a rebate and plan to spend S$111 or below, go to Step 2A.

OTHERWISE, if:

  1. You don’t have the code and plan to spend above S$111,
  2. Want to get additional rebates even though your spend is between S$100 to S$111 (you have to pay slightly more initially but you will be rewarded with extra cashback which may take 1 or 2 months to come), or
  3. Want to spend above S$139 (even if you have the $25 off coupon code),

go to Step 2B.

Step 2A: Use the Mobile App Code

Download the mobile app here. With the mobile app, you can get S$20 off with minimum spend of S$100 with the voucher code APPSALE. Note that you will not be entitled to additional cash rebates like Shopback if you use this.

If you decide on this route, proceed to Step 4 directly instead.

Step 2B: Use the 18M1ANNIV Coupon Code

This code is supposedly for M1 customers only, but apparently no verification is done upon checkout.

To use the code, simply apply 18M1ANNIV upon checkout. This code is valid until 3rd May 2015 and NO MINIMUM SPENDING IS REQUIRED. The discount is capped at S$50. Then, move on to Step 3.

Step 3: Use ShopBack

ShopBack will provide you with an extra 5% cashback on all electronics purchase. This cashback will take about 1 or 2 months to clear, and can be deposited into your bank amount once your accumulated cashback amount reaches at least S$10.

Once you have signed up, you have to access Lazada through the ShopBack web interface to gain your cashback.

Step 4: Check for the best deals!

There will be flash sales every two hours from 9am to 9pm daily. Simply head over to their Birthday Sale page to find out more.

Originally posted this to my site but I thought it would be helpful sharing this with you guys too :) HTH

I understand that the UOB discount is applied automatically, so technically if I entered the M1 18% off than pay using UOB should be able right?
