this question is quite open ended... what distance are you looking at? normal running say 3-5km, SAF shoes are more than enough.

where to buy is simpler, just not places like running labs... go Peninsular or queensway. not only prices are reasonable (not necessary cheap), there are huge varieties as well in terms of brand and where they come from..

i recommend peninsular plaza level 2, a small shop.. the uncle there is very nice and patient.

When my pants gets tighter or when i look damn fat when taking photographs...
The motivation challenge i have is not going to jog itself but in completing the distance.. sometimes feel tired halfway, hungry etc ... all kinds of reason to make me stop but each time i managed to finish, except when there is heavy downpour.

9/10 times i go after work, around 7+ in the evening, run 1 hour until 8+..

wkends i start at 5+pm.

2-3 times a week, 10km each pace between 5:15 to 5:45 per km really depends on the day i run lol.
I do dumbbells + push up + planks + crunches, all at home.

I belong to the old school, so my warm up is more static stretching.. not dynamic warmups lke i learn during ICT.

which SAF singlet chiu wear?

2014 SBR tees and older one.

borderline high cholesterol that's about all.

me bui bui and unmotivated.
how to find motivation?

Google and find the benefits of running and the myth that running spoilts your knee. Then look at people around with heart disease, diabetes etc... end of the day u must find your own motivation... and exercise in places where there are many people, then you have extra motivation especially knowing 'i am not alone'.

Strength training is mainly to support your running and make it more efficient.
I had a spell of 'dieting' before... combining oats/milk/almond with the same amount of running. the results were very obvious in 2-3weeks.

By regular running i merely sustain my weight though i eat a lot.... at least i keep my weight in check.

I am 1.67/67/39.

huh? you what talking?

i think he means run behind chio bu.. but hard truth is chio bus normally are slim and to them exercise is probably not in their mind, because some believe running makes their hip bigger and not look nice.

I seldom come across chio bu when running anyway :s13:
