Some may complain that the curvature is just a gimmick, but it's actually pretty useful in terms of viewing angles and voice clarity during calls :D

I gotta say, the curved screen is much more attractive than our conventional flat screen phones >.<

It's still much better than the Edge on Samsung smartphones.

I'm reading the G Flex 2 review ah from The Verge.
And I'll provide a summary.

LG puts a glossy finish on the back of the G Flex 2, which has a couple of very desirable qualities. Firstly, it’s highly resistant to fingerprint markings, and secondly — the thing that LG markets most heavily — it can recover from surface scratches in less than 10 seconds. This self-healing property makes for a neat party trick and should also keep the device looking pristine for longer.

This is actually the best single reason for getting the G Flex 2 I realise, not the curve or what nonsense.

The integration of all the various parts of a smartphone into a cohesive whole is Apple’s greatest, most underrated strength, and it’s what makes iPhones so enduringly popular. It’s a difficult task that should mark the beginning rather than the end of any phone’s design. LG went the other way: it got a bunch of really attractive components together and then set out to make something awesome from them. The result is flawed, but not in the way that might have been expected. The G Flex 2 achieves the rare feat of having a gimmicky feature that doesn’t ruin its functionality. Like pre-faded jeans, it’s weird and different without sacrificing its basic purpose. It stumbles on the more prosaic problems of software optimization, but that’s where so many other phones have faltered, too. LG deserves credit for trying and succeeding at being different. Now the challenge is to be better.

I knew it that the software wasn't good enough.
They should have just stuck with stock Android, but then keep the features.

The thing that disappoints me about the Flex 2’s camera is a problem I’ve encountered throughout my time with this phone: it’s slower than it should be. Although it runs on the newest Snapdragon 810 chip from Qualcomm, the G Flex 2 is nowhere near as fluid and responsive as devices like the HTC One and Sony Xperia Z3, which use earlier variants of the same SoC.

Tsktsk. Not good enough man. It's 2015.

don't you think like this time Qualcomm sabo everyone with their snapdragon 810? Now manufacturers I think also don't wanna be too overreliant on a particular manufacturer liao

Nid to check out the specs and material of what it is made then can decide.

Lol you anyhow read this thread you know what it's made of liao....

1. Self-healing plastic back
2. Gorilla Glass 3 I think on the front but can curve one
3. POLED screen
4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, but it throttles
5. 13MP camera with laser focus
6. 2GB of RAM in Singapore unfortunately :(
7. Full HD 5.5-inch screen.

Who thinks the G Flex2 would've been a much more popular phone if it had 3GB of RAM? 2GB of RAM seems so yesterday now...

Then now the rumour is that the G4 has 3GB of RAM but a Snapdragon 808 processor. Seems like we can't have the best of both worlds huh?

At least it doesn't edge halfway #whyedgehalfway :s13:

By the way, may I know if the G Flex2 has the ability to shoot photos in RAW? Or is that reserved only for the flagship G4?

The LG Flex 2 gives an ergonomic hold on the phone whicb sits comfortably on on's palm. With its 5.5" 1080p screen, 2GB ram, 16gb rom, nothing can stop in its way.

Not forgetting that it supports 128gb microsd, which should be the next big thing.

But i find it weird that there is a 2GB ram/16gb and 3GB ram/32gb model. Why cant they do both at 3gb ram, save the trouble....

Battery looks big at 3000mah.

the LG G Flex 2 is also powered by the following technologies:

Android Lollipop
POLED
OIS+
Knock code
Qualcomm snapdragon processor

Satki boh my post
