Yes, 64GB the sweet spot now.

All phone with built in battery, if the person knows, can still replace. Not just the LG G Flex 2.

As usual, as long as you put all original parts back in the LG G Flex 2 and there is no sign of open before, warranty will not be void.

Usually they would have a warranty covering one of the screw, doubt you can avoid tearing that if you need to tear it apart.

based on the pictures, don't see any warranty sticker covering one of the screws.

haha. the best part about this contest is that you'll probably not see much new participants. The leaderboard is telling, I haven't posted in a while and am still on the leaderboard. :s22:. If you have not joined the contest on day 1, your chances are probably pretty low. So there is pretty much no reason for people to "join the discussion" so to speak.

I'm assuming that you can redeem the rewards as soon as you have reached the points required. Which means only 10 or so more days to go considering the maximum point of 43 per day. Also which means that those who participated earlier (meaning can obtain points earlier), would likely be the only who is able to redeem the LG G Flex 2.

But here's the fun part. For those tentatively in the 4th to 8th place, they have to make a choice to go for the printer or the phone. If they decide to go the the printer, they will be settling on a lower reward... but still a reward not the less.

Alternatively, they can try for the G Flex 2 in hopes that someone in the top 3 forgot to post, or unable to post. But by once they do that, i'm sure the 5 units of printer will be snatched up. If the earliest top 3 keeps up their point scoring daily, in the end they might end up with nothing to redeem at all.

But the contest runs until 25th may supposedly, so who know after everything has been redeemed, LG will add in more items as rewards... Or maybe they will introduce bonus points one of these days to mix things up a little.... who knows...

so.....

red pill or blue pill?

opps, I think the LG G Flex 2 FLEXIBLE curved P-OLED screen was not as durable as thought, 50 kg pressure withstanding the front screen may break, and this was just a drop test~

May be a trial user set in the image. I just recalled few years back, I was one of the trial user for Samsung mobile, at the end of the trial, they decided to let me keep the set and they did paste some sticker on the phone given to me.

I did some repairs on my own in the past for those out of warranty phones, there bound be to a sticker stuck on to prevent abuse.

Not sure if it applies here too.

drop test difference bah, LG video is testing the load it can withstand by slowly stepping on it. By dropping a glass surface, I think there is 99.99% of cracked screen.

if only it has removable battery then you can easily swap it out but there is fast charging.

"LG G Flex 2 comes with a fixed 3,000mAh battery lurking behind its battery door. You can see it screwed in there, but unlike the G3's it's not designed to be user-replaceable. On paper a 3,000mAh cell sounds like enough for a high-end smartphone. But in practice we've found the phone's battery life to be average at best, and under certain circumstances it's possible to drain the phone to dead alarmingly quickly.

With mixed use across Wifi and LTE, consisting of web browsing, messaging and social app usage, with a little music playback from Google Play Music's offline cache, we typically got around 12 hours between charges from the G Flex 2, with around three hours of screen-on time.

With no wireless charging or battery-swapping options, LG's relying on faster charging to bring a flagging G Flex 2 back to life. The manufacturer quotes a figure of 50 percent in 40 minutes, which about lines up with what we're seeing using the bundled charger"
3 hours of screen on time isn't impressive at all........

Mine is even worst at 7 am+, but the printer is older model maybe to clear stock and some people said may not come with the special zink paper. :(

Curved phones are still in the "rebel without a cause" phase of their development. They are different, but haven’t yet figured out a compelling reason to be different. That doesn’t change with the G Flex 2. LG’s Dr. Ramchan Woo, the company’s mobile architect responsible for the new G Flex, argues that all design tends to start with straight lines and rectangles, because they’re easy to make, before proceeding to the more natural and organic feel of flowing curved lines. Making curves is hard, whether you’re talking about cars, architecture, or home appliances, but doing it is worth it for LG because of the better aesthetics and ergonomics. "Why curved again?," asks Woo. "Our biggest and simplest answer is it’s more beautiful."

you all agree bo? curved/flexable more beautiful?
