http://www.balistoreluggage.com/blog/indonesia-to-include-airport-departure-tax-update/
Departure Tax is also called Passenger Service Charge (PSC)
If you have purchased a ticket before 9 February 2015, when the tax wasn’t included in the ticket price yet; then you will still need to pay the airport tax. You will be asked to pay this at the airline counter upon check-in for your departure flight. After you paid, the airline staff will put a stamp on your boarding pass that shows you have paid.
If you have purchased a ticket after 9 February 2015; then the airport tax will already be included in your ticket.
The exception to the above is AirAsia who only started this new process on 25 February 2015 (click here to see notice on the AirAsia website). If you have an AirAsia ticket that was purchased before 25 February, then you can pay the airport tax at the check-in counter but also in advance through their website ‘Manage my Booking’ feature or AirAsia sales offices.
Current airport taxes are;
Bali Ngurah Rai International airport; Rp 200,000 (international)
I just checked my air ticket purchased thru Jetstar on 27th Jan 15, it since like collected show in Tax Invoice. So meaning, I don't need to pay?
Passenger Service Charge $39.80 SGD $0.00 SGD $39.80 SGD
I taking jetstar also. U sure no need pay exit fee? My air tixs from bali to sg only 37 sgd.

- need to book in advance???
appreciate to all comments! ^^
I am going in july for the first time, thus solely base on my research only.
1) rupiah, USD prices can be converted
2) Personally, paragliding at around 100usd
3) Depends on hotel
4) Babi guling (suckling pig) or Sardines/La Lucciola(expensive dining) if they still exist.
5) 350k halfday, 500k full day for that site I believe. Quite reasonable
I went:
1) Uluwatu Temple
2) Tanah Lot Temple
3) Trekked up Mount Batur to catch the sunrise (This was the highlight of our trip and was AWESOME!)
But if you don't want to trek, can go Mount Kintamani for buffet lunch with a scenic view of the volcano.
4) Go Ubud and see the rice terrace
5) Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple
Beautiful places that you should check out![]()
I did it about 30 USD iirc. My friend and his pals did it for 80 USD. So please bargain down/find a cheaper option. Honestly, all you really need is a driver. When you reach the base of Batur, there is a 'organisation' of guides that will bring you up. They'll assign you a guide/your driver liase with them etc. If you're adventourous, just bring a torch, water bottle and jacket and follow other people. There is pretty much that one route that EVERYBODY takes and there are many many people most of the time.
for tours, is to count as per person or per car?
