Berbatov is not a Man Utd player, too lazy :vijayadmin::vijayadmin::vijayadmin:

its just his style compared to rooney at that time.. if he were in e present system, his ability to just stay upfront, engage e 2 ** , hold on to e ball n bring others into play with intelligence will be perfect with e 2 inverted wingers n CMs pushing up to support e attack...

not so great when it was 442 n we relied a lot on crosses

No la, that's what alot of people said at that point in time.

I was quite a big fan of him, was quite aghast to see him leave to make way for RVP.

But yes, otherwise he'd be the best fit for LVG.... if he is not 34 years old lol:s13:

yes jones is super committed, but sometimes this results in him being a bit rash when he could have avoided e situation in e first place. .also leads to frequent injuries, similar to rafael

i like jones, but i think he just needs to work on his reading n anticipation a bit more

-

Jones work hard no doubt, but sometimes I really prefer him to play smart ;)

too slow. lone striker need pace. see why RVP is being shipped out like a piece of meat.

And they like the balls to feet too much.

LVG have already said last season he would much like Wayne to have 12touches a game but scores 2 goals. In short.

LVG's striker. Runs away from ball, pulls defenders away for midfield. Roams on the shoulders of centrehalves. and get in the box. that's all you need to do.

2 down, how many to go?

Still need:

- a gk
- a central defender
- a midfielder
- a striker

i hope Kane can prove us all wrong and wack another 15 goals this season

AC is **** if u ask me, dont compare Kane to AC...AC only uses his head + left foot

and if u dont pass the ball to AC, AC will feck u...yes i also watch West Ham games lol

West Ham's collapse was largely due to AC returned from Injury, feck up the partnership between Valencia / Sakho

But Kane is different, hardworking and scored using head, feet and also takes the random freekicks, if u see Kane's goals this season (BPL + Europa), some of his shots were angled...he doesnt have strong powerful shots, he went for angles to score them

maybe too early to tell but i hope he can repeat it again!

if he repeat another 15-20 goals, his value will be 70-100mil instead of the current 50mil.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is targeting Manchester United defender Jonny Evans to help boost his back four for next season.

Pulis has earmarked the Northern Irishman as his prime target during the transfer window but West Brom are said to be frustrated by United's £10million asking price.

With key defender Jonas Olsson's future at the Baggies in doubt, Pulis will look to Evans to sure up his defence and bring experience and assurance to his side next season and beyond.

Manchester United have reportedly accepted a £43.2million bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Argentine international Angel Di Maria.

Mercato365 is reporting that Di Maria could be on the move after just one season at Old Trafford, with his agent Jorge Mendes understood to be in France to negotiate personal terms with the Ligue 1 outfit.

Di Maria's wage demands are believed to be in the vicinity of £250,000 a week, while PSG are understood to be offering £208,000 a week.

Di Maria previously indicated his preference was to stay and fight for his spot at United, but it now looks as though the 27-year-old will be playing his club football in France next season.

Former Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has backed the club's pursuit of Matteo Darmian to shine at Old Trafford.

United is expected to complete the signing of Torino full-back Darmian in the next 24 hours for a reported fee of £12.9million.

Cardiff City striker Macheda, who is the last Italian to have played for the Red Devils, believes his fellow countryman has the temperament to quickly settle at a club like United.

"Matteo must certainly expect great things when joining a world-class club," he said.

"I wish him all the best and feel he is ready for this adventure.

"Wearing the Red Devils jersey is certainly a big responsibility, because you feel this scary weight of history on your shoulders and realise that every time you pull the shirt on.

"Darmian has character and if he finds consistency then I am sure he'll settle in very well.

"English football is much more physical and in his role it's important to push forward as well as defend, but his characteristics already suit that."

Macheda joined Cardiff from United on a free transfer in 2014.

To those who cares :)

England international Danny Welbeck has been ruled out of Arsenal's pre-season tour of Singapore with a knee injury.

The Mirror is reporting the 24-year-old suffered a recurrence of the knee problem that prematurely ended his 2014/15 Premier League campaign.

Welbeck had been receiving treatment on the knee throughout the summer, with the Gunners hopeful the forward would be ready for the start of pre-season training.

Welbeck is now racing against the clock as he pushes to be fit for Arsenal's opening Premier League fixture against West Ham United on August 9.

Ramos fits into LVG's philosophy - he likes his CBs to stroll into MF and retain possession. Otamendi is like Vidic - no nonsense defender, although I've seen ramos flying and throwing his body around to block.

I still have reservations that Ramos is milking Real - but his situation reminds me of Di Maria last season, and Ozil before that. Perez decides to get rid of him, and brands him a money grabber.

On DDG - its inevitable. I rather he leaves now, and we get Ramos at a cheaper price and bring in Lloris. I remembered at the last man utd spurs game, the look on LVG and Frank faces when Lloris kept spurs in the game after getting blasted by RvP and co for almost 1hr. If we keep DDG for another season, Lloris might go for PSG or he might be tempted to stay with spurs.
