After installing the software, its supposed intuitive user interface then will appear. If it is intuitive enough, then the Samsung Portable SSD T1 become easy to set up and protect the files, so professionals can be assured that their original work will not fall into the wrong hands or get lost due to design, durability or reliability concerns. Otherwise, will be what?

With just one user-set password, the drive is safe from unwanted access thanks to AES 256-bit hardware encryption. But one passwword if forget how ah?

Unlike an external HDD, the Portable SSD T1 has no moving parts, so it can withstand bumps and drops and users do not need to worry about the wear and tear of moving parts that can result in lost or corrupted data. It is shock resistant up to 1500G/0.5ms and features Dynamic Thermal Guard, which will activate in extreme temperature conditions to protect the drive and any stored data – so users can rest easy knowing the drive can withstand even the toughest elements.

if drop from table will spoil?

The secret behind Samsung’s landmark 3D-V-NAND technology consists of three important innovations: materials, structure and integration which result in more capacity, faster speed, outstanding endurance and superb power efficiency.

The vertical architecture enables more memory cells to fit in a NAND chip in less space for significantly more capacity resulting in higher data quality. Cell to cell interference is virtually eliminated, enabling data to be written much faster for better performance.

Samsung's three-dimensional Vertical NAND Flash memory (3D V-NAND) breaks free of the scaling limit for existing NAND Flash technology. With the accelerating consumer adoption of SSDs, Samsung anticipates that its new V-NAND SSDs will add to the growth of the branded SSD market with its outstanding performance.

they are the best so far with 3d nand, because they are the only one using it :o

After running CrystalDiskMark, I put the T1 SSD through the same benchmarks we used to test USB flash drives, dumping a 32GB folder of 20 video files onto and off the drive and then a 15GB folder of 10,000 images. With the large files, the T1 SSD managed 352 MB/s reads and 307 MB/s writes. With the small files, it scored a predictably slower (but still good) 220 MB/s read, 227 MB/s write. That write speed is far faster than any of the flash drives we tested, likely thanks to Samsung’s controller and UASP support.

Speaking of UASP, you may need a BIOS or driver update to take full advantage of the T1’s speed over USB. Before installing ASUS’s USB software, I was only seeing write speeds of around 80 MB/s. Getting UASP support working made a massive difference in write speeds, making the T1 a great, fast drive for moving around bulk files.[/QUOE]

You buy it already? :s11::s11:

haha don't think people will get sore over this since got enough quantity for everyone. :s12: only heard last samsung promotion people are ranting coz got nothing but 20% discount which isn't attractive. true la, wanna give then should anticipate the crowd like this round. kudos to the generous samsung~ well, my mom and i use samsung phones too :s22:

seriously, big or small prize doesn't matter a great deal since is free technically. now most people should get 1x microsd card :D nice to chat with some of the regular guys here and learn more about techie stuffs as i usually read the mobile section and some others :o

announce how much item per item to let ppl know they can get or just get another lower prize or else landed up get nothing at all

maybe can finetune abit by keep one prize for the post got the most like by users here for being best constructive & original post so anyone can compet for it even you are late. Maybe HWZ introduce such reward competition will make u check hwz forum regularly :)
