On game debate , how do you check the power needed to run a gpu? check the psu or max power description? http://www.game-debate.com/hardware...=GeForce GTX 760 MSI TwinFrozr OC 2GB Edition
check the review for that card .... usually last 2-3 page they will show the graph for power consumption , temperature , noise

power supply 300watt ... since it is 5year old now .... may not support 80-100% of that rating (assuming it was not over-declare in the first place)
that means u got like 240watt budget for cpu + ram + harddisk + motherboard + usb + fans
I think your pc cannot support any card that require PSU 6pin power .... can only draw 75watt from the motherboard .... which limit the graphic card performance and choices

potential issue is the width of the casing and the graphic card

That "game debate" site is not even a real review .... they just whack some random scores like 10 8.5 6.5
use google search the graphic card model, first few result are some sites like anandtech , techpowerup , tomshardware

50 dollar branded bronze 550W psu also can last 3-5 years easily .

At least he didn't quote hes a choingster XD

Nope , depends how ur gpu is drawing the power, if u keep abuse it to max / stress everyday . it won't last long
